Hey guys I need your help big time lol.. I don't know what on earth to do with my hair and I'm quite 'fussy' when it comes to photos. Our school dosen't take it every year, only every 2 years and this is our last year and its the final ever school photos so I want to look good in it (haha)..

+ I thought I had 2 school photos (single and form) and then I found out there is also going to be another photo being taken with serior pupils.. makes 3.. and also makes it worse (for me lol)..

In year 9 I had my hair straight and I actually got it cut at my mates dad's shop (hairdressers).. I never went to that place and I usually just stick to one hairdresser.. and I had to go and do it before the day of the photos and I was totally unhappy with my cut and because my hair and blazer is black it camoflages into eachother! =(..

1) I am happy with the hair cut I have now, my hair is just above my waist
2) Im not going to colour it because I don't think it would suit me and if there were any mistakes/reactions then I'd get myself in deeper c**p
3) I am don't want to have it tied up or clipped up because I personally think it looks a tad bit boring in the pictures (for me anyways!)
4) I don't think I want to try curling it because it goes wrong for me whenever I want it to go right! Mum's right.. can't really trust it lol..

I hope someone out there has a suggestion for me.. currently its having it straightened again.. might try out some lil' things while its straightened down.. Might get a friend to french plait my hair for the senior photo..

I honestly would LOVE you for all your help, I know I am a bit over the top about the whole situtation but hey im sorry!

Maybe you could try not having the actual length of your hair changed, but have the style changed still? Perhaps feathering around the face a bit more. That would give your hair a nice shape when it is straight, and look timeless as well. So in years to come you wont look at it and think "Oh GOD! What was i thinking!!".

Basically, keep the length, but have it shaped more around your face, and have it straight.

And have some layers in it if you haven't got them already. Can't beat layers and feathering for an easy, no fuss style.

Have you tried some websites were you can post a photo of yourself and see what it would look like with different hairstyles.

When I want ideas I normally buy a hair magazine, beacuse it has loads of pictures and suggestions, and I can point out what I want in the magazine to the hairdresser :)
