Following the exit of paramedic Cyd Pyke, actor Matt Bardock will be making a welcome return to CASUALTY.

Matt will be reprising his role of paramedic Jeff Collier, who appeared last series but left after volunteering a transfer out of Holby.

Fans enjoyed watching the double act partnership between colleagues Jeff and Dixie and will be delighted to hear of his return later this month.

Since when was Cyd leaving? I like her character. Well i suppose they are replacing with Matt so it could be worse.

oh, good i liked him, i thought it was a realy shame when he left as ghe had olnly just come in to it, the scenes between him and Dixie were really good.

No he is replacing Cyd, who leaves in Saturdays episode with Matt returning in the same episode. Josh apparently leaves in episode 10 (according to wikipedia)

I'm getting really worried about all these cast members leaving. Selena, Nathan, Cyd, Guppy and Josh in the space of about 7 episodes.

I'm glad Matt is coming back though, he's a really good character and he compliments Dixie better than Cyd ever did.

I know! Half the cast is leaving! :( Glad Jeff's coming back though :D Was worried he'd gone for good. Him and Dixie were great loads of comedy and although I like Cyd, she hasn't really had a good storyline since the snake bite so not that much of a loss...
