Emma Samms has ditched her Dynasty shoulder-pads and glamour from the 80s whilst playing Fallon Carrington – now you’ll see her guest star as a bored housewife this September.
“This is the opposite end of the scale to a glamorous role, in fact, it’s an exercise in discarding vanity, which is very liberating,” claims Samms.
Explaining why she’s moved from Hollywood to London, Samms puts it down to her mum: “It’s a pleasure to work with so many lovely people and there’s no way I could have not taken the role as The Bill is my mum’s favourite programme.”
Samms character Ella Winstanley is the wife to Simon, played by the youngest of the famous brothers Stephen McGann.
After being found kneeling by a dead man, Ella is arrested for attempted murder.
But will she save herself from the hell of prison by admitting to a very dark secret?
