Stone came into Sun Hill throwing his weight around and he hasn't stopped.
This month you'll see him talk a man into killing himself and on the flip side, he'll talk another man from doing the same thing. Why? Because Stone has a strong moral code all of his own; that's not quite inside the guidelines of the law.
After being talked into accepting on the role of Family Liaison Officer, Will finds it hard to cope. A 16-year-old girl has been killed being with her mum and dad in their home is a tough call. The FLO position is a job Stone doesn't want, but he encourages Will and tells him he's doing a good job. Will then witnesses Stone persuade a man to leap to his death. His conscience is demanding truth whilst Stone bullies him to stick to a false story about the event. Things are not going well Will.
Over in CID there's DC Grace Dasari whose last post was with Special Operations. She's got a skill in getting to the crux of each investigation and gets results. Investigating the Dreyfuss robberies, Grace uncovers Louis Dreyfuss's past and a complicated political balance of foreign criminals that doesn't add up. She's understated, very cool and very clever. She'll prove it to you this month.
Its retro month this September as we've got a trio of guest stars best known for their characters in the 80s:
Lou Beale left Albert Square back when The Bill was in its infancy. Now Anna Wing brings East-end promise to an estate in Sun Hill when there's a spate of violence amongst its residents.
Glamorous Emma Samms, formally Fallon in Dynasty, is now using her earrings from the 80s for chandeliers and her old shoulder-pads are now crash mats used by stunt men. Along with a change of image, Samms has gone in for a change of character too and will be playing a bored house wife with a penchant for a touch of crystal meth.
Michael Brandon has left his 80s' character Lt. Jim Dempsey for The Bill's Louis Dreyfuss, a troubled casino owner. Dreyfuss is not only robbed of £1.2 million from the casino safe but the fidelity of his gorgeous wife too, by one of CID's impetuous sex addicts (there's only one).
