Does anyone know any good remedies to get rid of hayfever?

I've always suffered really badly for it, I've tried all the tablets and stuff but they dont seem to work.

You can get some tablets called New Era, I think they are homeopathic. You need to take them regularly and build them up though for them to be effective. You can also get nasal sprays, they also need to be built up to be effective.

I only suffer from it slightly so just take Boots or Tesco's own make Hayfever relief but it takes a least a week for it to kick in and have any effect on me.

The only time I get hayfever is when I've not had enough to drink. My friend suffered from hayfever badly. She tried tanking up on water. Looked like it wasn't doing anything, but after a week the hayfever just went.

Its a miracle supplement is water. Alot of ailments can be put down to dehydration.

I've been trying to drink more water - there's a water machine right next to my desk at work so trying to take more but the loo's are miles away, that's when its not such a good idea!!!

I have suffered from hayfever since I was 5 (I'm now 29!!) and have tried loads of stuff. The one thing I did find was that the one a day tablets didn't work (for me). I needed to be able to take 2 when I needed to. Piriton tablets seem to be the better ones, although not the one a day, and be careful as they and they can make you drowsy. Although I did find that my local chemists own brand were just as good. My 2 boys are taking piriton and eye drops, whereas I am currently taking New Era and using optrex eye drops as I am pregnant. This does seem to be working, although mass sneezing fits and unable to see are things that I just seem to have got used to over the years!!! My boys have got so bad that the whites of their eyes have swollen up  but the anti allergy eye drops (and pinning their hands away from their eyes) seem to do the trick!!!!

I use Cetirizine - trust me its soooooo good!! After half an hour off taking it I stop sneezing and I cool down a tiny bit. I use Nedocromil Sodium 2% Eye Drops - twice a day. And Im a perfect girl :D
