Well folks I gotta admit, this new series, has started with a BANG,, no pun intended..
Its good seeing Harry, Nicki and Leo together again.
Looking forward to the 2nd part ...
I'm so pleased it's back, one of my favourite shows. How long is it running for this time? Last series was only 5/6 weeks long :(
Excellent couple of episodes this week. I loved the bits with Harry. I forgot how dishy Tom Ward (Harry) is
And I forgot it was on (or didn't actually realise)
Darn it!!!! When is it on next?

I think Harry is getting better and better looking .. I remember he was a string bean when I first saw him on SILENT WITNESS,, hes grown into his character and i really think those 3 work really well together,, Leo can be a pain in the butt and by the book,, and Harry and Niki tend to bend things just a lil bit,, makes things alot more interesting when they do things like that.
I will be able to see Mondays offering but will miss out on the 2nd part on Tues:crying:

I saw the first half of last weeks and then missed the second :p but it's good because they do different stories each time so it's not too confusing :D
This weeks episode looks good :)
I know this is a general thread but is it ok to post the plot summaries in here instead of starting a new thread in the spoilers?

Maybve put spoiler tags round it, just incase, then those who don't want to read don't have to.
Personally though, there are no real "details" given away within the snippets and its no different to what you'd read in any magazaine, on sky information, or in a newspaper, so I wouldn't say that there is any need for spoiler information in there. Its only really telling you what the story will be about for that week.
If others would prefer though, then it can be spoiler tagged.

Yeh, i personally don't mind knowing, what's going to happen, i know people who do so, i just thought it might be nicer for them, that way it covers for both people, if that makes sense.
I found tonight's episode pretty disturbing. It started to bother me about halfway through when Leo followed the boy down that alley into the church thing. I wouldn't have got out of the car if somebody had smashed my windscreen through.
Still, it was a good episode. I'm still not sure where all the dead people fit together but I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
I said the same thing to my hubby JB - if someone had smashed my screen like that, and I was on my own in an underground car park, I'd be getting the heck outta there as quick as poss - no chance of me getting out of the car and having a look around......noooo way!!
Seems to be connections all over the place - don't think the vicar committed suicide though for sure.
Good episode though - looking forward to tomorrows conclusion.

That episode was a bit confusing, still good...if a little wierd..:) I wouldn't have got out of my car either..would probably drive off very quickly! Was that a dead cat on his windscreen?!
I think the dead boy had something to do with the man who commited suicide (or got pushed off the roof)...:hmm:
Nope neither do I. The Church believes it's a sin to commit suicide so why did a Catholic former teacher kill himself? I couldn't understand why nobody raised that point.
Monday and Tuesday's episodes.
Hippocratic Oath - Part One
Monday 10th September on BBC 1 London from 9:00pm to 10:00pm
Part one of two. An accident involving a lorry and a funeral procession results in the bizarre discovery of two bodies in the coffin. Meanwhile, Leo and Nikki's suspicions are aroused during a post mortem on a child who died in surgery, and both investigations lead the detectives to a surgeon with a high rate of mortality among her patients. Emilia Fox, William Gaminara and Natasha Little star. Concludes tomorrow. With Tom Ward, Dylan Charles, Jo-Anne Nighy, Jack Ashton, Tanya Moodie, Richard Standing, Barry Ward, Paul Bentall, Caoimhe Murdock, Richard Rees, Laura Power and Evelyn Duah.
Hippocratic Oath - Part Two
Tuesday 11th September on BBC 1 London from 9:00pm to 10:00pm
Part two of two. Nikki is frustrated by her inability to remember who attacked her, while Leo works hard to discover what happened to Claire. Meanwhile, Harry meets Alice Huston after a tip-off from a member of her team about the operation performed on Sam Reid. Emilia Fox and Tom Ward star. Really enjoyed last nights episodes, another great story! What i really don't get though is why people insist on going off to dark scary places on their OWN! Poor Nikki though, she's gunna have one hell of a headache!
Neither do I, it's just asking for trouble going down into a basement with no lights or getting out of the car when the windscreen has been smashed.
Tonight's episode was really good. Harry looked as dashing as ever. Wasn't too keen on the guy who blew his brains out and they splattered all over the wall.
No me neither, that was pretty gross, it was a good episode though and mondays. It was slightly distirbing seeing the cofffin fly down the road.In fact a lot of it was pretty gruesome. I had a feeling it was the weird dad ther was something odd about him although i didn't link him to the funeral guy. It was really good.
I think this episode has been more graphic and gruesome than the last.
Next week
Double Dare - Part One
Monday 17th September on BBC 1 London from 9:00pm to 10:00pm
Part one of two. A horrific car crash poses troubling questions for Nikki when she discovers one of the victims was the recently released Anna Holland, an accomplice to murder she helped escape a life sentence four years earlier. As the investigation progresses, Nikki re-interviews key witnesses from the original case and begins to doubt her earlier conclusions. Emilia Fox stars. Concludes tomorrow. With William Gaminara, Tom Ward, Hugo Speer, Danny Midwinter, Leigh Lawson, Wayne Foskett, Cara Horgan, Nick Court, Lizzy McInnerny, Avril Clark, Shelly King and Vince Leigh.
Double Dare - Part Two
Tuesday 18th September on BBC 1 London from 9:00pm to 10:00pm
Part two of two. Nikki prepares to publicly concede she may have been wrong about Anna Holland's innocence, but Leo urges her not to throw her career away while there is still uncertainty. Harry tries to identify two bodies found buried in the garden of an empty house - and finds they are connected to his colleague's troubling case. Emilia Fox and Tom Ward star. With William Gaminara, Hugo Speer, Anna Wing, Danny Midwinter, Leigh Lawson, Wayne Foskett, Cara Horgan, Nick Court, Niky Wardley, Lizzy McInnerny, Vince Leigh and David Kennedy.
Great couple of episodes again, and I was right :cheer: I thought it was the dad as soon as Claire disappeared from the office when she saw him in there to speak to the doctor on Monday night.
Nikki was lucky to get away with just the bump on the head - it could have been a lot worse.
It could, my mum pointed out the obvious, oh look she's bleeding she said as she walks in the room at the end of mondays episode. It is quite a graphic series.
Can i ask, who was in it before Emilia Fox, as i remember a woman and i can't think the name of her.

PERIPHERAL VISION
Part One [Monday 24 September 2007, 9pm, BBC One]
When the bones of a young girl are found, everyone’s convinced it’s a teenager who went missing two years ago - except Nikki.
Part Two [Tuesday 25 September 2007, 9pm, BBC One]
Having fallen out with both the police and Clara’s family, Nikki finds herself increasingly alone in her search for the killer.
nikki isn't half having a tough time, she can't seem to get anthing right and then her father turned up.
Really wasnt expecting the end last night with the mix up. A great ending.

I've yet to see the second part - but the first part was really good. But sad :(
But Harry chuckling at the CCTV camera's and then going oh s**t when he realised it was Nikki. His face. I liked the bits of comedy between the team.
That guy Errol's death was sad who's going to look after his brother now? :(
(One continuity thing though - when Errol's leg got stabbed it was light when the ambulance was taking him away it was pitch black.)

Absolutely brilliant. Pity that next week is the last in the series
Oh no, I've missed an entire series :( It wasn't well advertised that Silent Witness was returning. As I use the iplayer more than TV, I would have expected more internet advertising.
Pretty crap ending to tonights episode
