Ashley's getting increasingly anxious as Casey continues to stalk him with constant phone calls. When she turns up at the house and an unsuspecting Claire invites her in Ashley's furious. Disguising his feelings, he tells Casey that she has to leave him and Claire alone. But Ashley's pleas are clearly falling on deaf ears as Casey threatens that she's not going anywhere its clear that she's relishing his discomfort. What is Casey planning?

Rita's puzzled when Norris reveals that he's taking her for lunch at the Italian, but accepts his invitation all the same. However, when his behaviour becomes even stranger, Rita feels unsettled and demands to know what's going on. Norris tells her that they're both facing the possibility of a lonely old age and after working with her over the years he's grown to respect and love her and wonders if she'll do him the honour of becoming his wife! What will Rita's answer be?

Meanwhile, Roy is becoming increasingly concerned about Hayley who's eaten up with guilt. Becky urges her to speak to him about her son, but she's terrified that it'll destroy their relationship. However, when Becky suggests that she hire a private investigator to find out if she really does have a son before she starts telling Roy, Hayley's intrigued and Becky promises to help her arrange it. Will Hayley discover the truth? What will she do if she finds out she does have a son?

Elsewhere, David is furious when Gail shows him up in front of Mel and unplugs the freezer in a bid to get revenge on her. And Fiz is furious when Cilla escapes to Vegas leaving Chesney alone with Kirk.

3rd Sept

Casey's still obsessively stalking Ashley and Claire and spots an opportunity when she spies them leaving Freddie with Kirk in the butchers. After duping Kirk into letting her take Freddie, she tells a perplexed Audrey that she's now with Ashley and they're getting married! However, when Ashley arrives at the butchers, he's horrified to discover that Casey has taken his son and heads straight to her flat, telling a bewildered Kirk not to tell Claire anything.

Meanwhile, Claire arrives home to Audrey's news of Casey’s earlier behaviour and Claire's alarmed to discover that Ashley told Kirk not to tell her.

As Ashley arrives at Casey's flat, he's shocked to see that it's covered in mocked up photos of her, him and Freddie and that she's locked Freddie on the balcony in his pram and wont release him until Ashley talks to her. Helpless, Ashley agrees. But as Casey begins to wax lyrical about their love and reveals that she was the one who set fire to the house, Ashley realises the true extent of her insanity and angrily tells her it's all in her head. Hurt by Ashley's reaction, Casey rushes to the balcony to grab Freddie telling Ashley that if he doesn’t love her they might as well both be dead. Ashley's terrified, will he be able to save his child?

Elsewhere, Jerry and Eileen are pussy footing around each other and playing it cool but they manage to set up a date to go to the pictures. But Jodie's less than enthused about their date when she gets dumped minding Kayleigh and Finlay...yet again. How long will Jodie put up with being a full time nanny?

Meanwhile, David's delighted when Gail finds the freezer has flooded the floor and all the food is ruined and is highly amused when she seems happy at how helpful he's being when he makes a pretence of fixing it! David shows no remorse for his actions and seems set on making life difficult for his mum when he throws some of her mail in Rita’s dustbin!

Also, Norris is sulking after his rejection by Rita and Hayley and Becky meet with the private investigator.


As Claire storms into the flat she’s horrified to find Casey holding Freddie on the edge of the balcony threatening to jump. Ashley whispers to Audrey to call the police and reveals to Claire that Casey is dangerous, it was she who started the fire and tried to kill her.

Petrified about what might happen to her son, Claire tells Ashley to do as Casey says, but is devastated when Ashley's forced to confess to having an affair. Will Claire and Ashley manage to appease the mentally deranged stalker and rescue their son?

While Eileen and Jerry enjoy their date at the pictures, Jodie's stuck at home minding the kids. However, when Jodie calls Kayleigh after she doesn't come home and hears a slurred voice at the other end of the phone, she's furious, Kayleigh's missed the bus and needs collecting.

Seeing Jerry return from his date, Jodie asks if he'll pick her up, but he refuses point blank to ruin his date. Fortunately, Lloyd comes to the rescue and picks her up, but is less than pleased when she vomits in the back of his cab! Jerry is fuming when Kaleigh falls out of the taxi and puts an end to his cosy night with Eileen, and Lloyd tells Jodie that she should be out having fun not acting like a middle aged mum. Will Lloyd show her a good time?

Elsewhere, Sean and Violet are excited about their first scan and Tyrone annoyed that Paul seems keen for them to move out.

5th Sept

As news of yesterday's dramatic events spreads round the street, the enormity of what's happened is sinking in for Ashley who's spent a night on the sofa and is being ignored by Claire.

Meanwhile, Claire's furious when she discovers that Audrey knew about Ashley’s affair and deliberately kept her in the dark about it. Audrey's devastated when Claire coldly asks her to leave and feels overwhelmingly guilty about the whole ordeal. Ashley’s determined to fight for his marriage and begs Claire for a response, but she's not ready to speak to him yet and shuts him down before asking him to leave. Is Ashley and Claire's relationship damaged beyond repair?

Over at the Mortons', Jerry is furious about Kayleigh's drunken antics and grounds her. Later, when David spots Darryl shooting cans with an air rifle in the garden, he invites him into their garden to get a lesson in shooting. Gail's hurt when she arrives home to see David using clay models that he made for her in infants school as targets, but when David insists that he's no longer the same person, she decides not to pussyfoot around him and accuses him of all the other mishaps that have occurred recently. Will Gail finally start being a bit tougher on her son?

Meanwhile, Violet has her first craving, but is nervous about the scan and is overjoyed when Sean tells her he has got the afternoon off to come with her.

Elsewhere, Hayley feels uncomfortable about all the lies she's telling Roy about the money she's withdrawn for the Private investigator, but Becky reassures her it’s for the best. How will Roy react when he discovers Hayley has been sneaking around behind his back?


7th Sep 7pm Start because of the Rugby World Cup

David's indignant when Gail mentions that she'd like him to start paying rent now that he's working. He's furious and refuses to give her a penny, claiming that she's just trying to punish him for not staying on at school.

Later, when Gail is unpacking her shopping David and Darryl are playing with the air rifle and David decides to teach Gail a lesson by shooting a hole in her shopping. When Gail realises what's happened she immediately accuses David and drags him back into the house to tidy up the mess he's made.

However, that afternoon, after having a chat with Gail, Audrey gives David his wages minus the money Gail has asked him to pay her towards the house. David's livid and after having a blazing row with his mum, he packs his bags and walks out of the house, telling Gail to have a happy life. Gail's incredulous but worried about what David might do next. What is he capable of?

Meanwhile, Ashley's spent the night on the Webster's sofa, who reassure him he can stay as long as he likes. Kevin tries to encourage Ashley, but he's inconsolable, convinced he’s blown it. As Ashley arrives back at his house he's crushed to find Claire more resolute than ever that she will not forgive him and is already planning for their future apart. Will Claire come round?

At Weatherfield General, Violet and Sean nervously arrive for the scan and are put at ease by a good looking sonographer called Marcus. Sean quickly makes it clear that although he is the child’s father he is also single, gay and available. They're both relieved that the scan goes well but Sean is torn between looking at his baby and at Marcus! As the pair arrives home, Sean's excited as he reveals that Marcus gave him his phone number. Will Sean and the sonographer hit it off?

so glad that Casey is now good, great actress but rubbish storyline
