Good or Bad to have Danni on the show?

This has been discussed for a while now, but do you think it's better with or without Danni Minogue on the X-Factor now?

To be honest I dont see there much point in her, I mean obviously I think it will be better when they are seperated and have there own catergory but at the moment she doesnt make that much of a difference.

She is a good addition. Contestants can relate to her as she's been through the talent show experience herself so she can give the contestants some much needed advice and understand what they are going through when they go through the X Factor experience - it's good to have another female on the judging panel.

Its just at the moment I dont really like her but I think when shes on her own as a mentor and stuff, we'll get to see more of her and I might/ probably will like her then, just taking my time getting use to her I think

Sharon is a music manager. She manages and launched the following people: Ozzy, marlyn manson, slipknot, smashing pumpkins, ELO, limp biskit, and she has been involved with many other groups to get them started.. now tell me who is more qualified???
An actress turned Singer (not very successful except on the dance scene) or a manager of some very very succesful bands????

Personally I don't care Danni been there, but you can't say Sharon is not less qualified than herWell you learn something everyday. I honestly didnt know that about Sharon but then again if you saw my mp3 collection you would probably understand. Of the groups you listed I have only heard of ELO:eek:

she hasnt proved herself to me yet, so i wont slag her off, but she seems a bit pale and just goes with the flow, you need a real character on the show to rival the other judges.

pete waterman would have been a better option, as Danni has no experience as a "manager/mentor"

At the moment I am undecided whether she will be a good addition to the show or not. The difference with Danni and the other judges is that they are not afraid to tell a contenstant if they're crap or not, but Danni will just say that they are unique. The real test will be when they are given a group to mentor. I am more concerned about having four age groups I don't think its fair to put under 16's under that pressure of singing live to millions every Saturday night.

You are not Square Alan.. I only know most of those band cause I lived with a bunch of younger students in my college days and my nephew was a rocker.. other than that I would have only know her for Ozzy and the whole MTV the osbourne stuff (which she did negotiate that well to the tune of 6 mill)

Thank God for that. I really was starting to feel my age there. Of course I dont watch Big Brother and I havent read Harry Potter. I cant name all the characters in Friends and I think The Office, The Royle Family and Last of the Summer wine are overrated.

Getting back to the thread. Dannii adds a bit of young blood to the panel and I enjoy her. At least she has made a success of her life. So what if she was formerly a soap star.

I don't mind danni there.. she just annoys me at time cause every guy that comes in she says "oh the girls will go wild over you" blah blah... it seem to be the same comments all the time and she doesn't have the same banter that the other 3 have.. maybe cause she is new..
Read in a mag that she wants the younger group as she said that is where the talent lies this year...
