Dell printer - HELP!

I've recently bought a new printer and to cut a long story short - it's not working!

When I get the window up that monitors whats happening with the printer, the document I'm trying to print briefly appears and under 'Status' it says 'Spooling'. Then the word 'Spooling' disappears and the document completely vanishes from the print window and nothing prints!

I've tried restarting the computer and turning the printer off for 10 seconds etc but nothing seems to work.

The odd thing is on my profile on Windows XP, it prints fine...but on my mum's profile it has the above problem?!

Have you enabled the printer to work in your Mum's profile

Erm....I think so. It's in her 'Printers and Faxes' folder anyway and set as the default printer...

Im sure you have tried this. Log on using your mothers profile and reinstall the printer. Its possible that when you installed the printer you did not set the permissions for other users to access it. You could always have a look at the settings in your profile too.
