Jerry is excited about his date tonight with Eileen and pays off Darryl to make sure he stays out of the way. He prepares a meal and waits for Eileen to arrive. Enjoying each other's company they sit down to the meal but find themselves being constantly interrupted by Darryl and Kayleigh.
Desperate for some privacy, Jerry leads Eileen to Darryl's shed. Next door Gail is trying to read but cannot concentrate due to the music coming from the shed and starts banging on the shed door. She is shocked to see Eileen come out with Jerry and smug Eileen decides to kiss him in front of her, how will Gail react?
Audrey visits Claire who is disappointed when she does not arrive with Ashley or Joshua. Audrey pleads to her that she needs to get back to Ashley before someone else takes him away from her but Claire reassures her that Ashley would never be unfaithful.
Meanwhile, Ashley tells Casey that he has been thinking about making a choice between her and Claire but before he can finish Casey interrupts him and tells how much she loves him and how they can move away together. How will Ashley react?
Fiz is annoyed with Cilla for not spending much time with Chesney due to her new job. Cilla brings Frank to the Rovers and introduces him to the residents. She agrees to become his full time carer.
Doreen and Rita finally are introduced to George and Ivor both of whom try to work out who could be Norris's love interest.
27th August
Casey spends the night with Ashley and deliberately kisses him in front of Audrey when she leaves. Concerned Audrey tells him that she will not stand by and watch his marriage being ruined by Casey.
When Casey returns a worried Ashley tells her about Audrey and what she said, when suddenly Claire returns and says she is back for good. She asks a gutted Casey to leave who lets slip that she has stayed over. Suspiciously, Claire begins to ask questions about where Casey stayed and how many times, will Ashley crack under the pressure?
Roy receives a call from Hayley's uncle who has some bad news. He tells Hayley and she guesses it has something to do with her auntie.
Cilla spends her first day cleaning Frank's house but keeps catching him looking at her. He suggests they go for a drink at the Rovers.
Darryl is annoyed when Jerry tells him he was in the shed with Eileen.
Ashley reassures Claire that nothing happened between him and Casey, feeling guilty she apologises for doubting him. They have a drink with Audrey and Claire thanks her for making her realise that she should be back home but Audrey soon realises that Ashley has not told her the whole truth about Casey staying over.
Ashley receives a text and makes an excuse to leave and visits Casey at a car park. Casey confesses to Ashley that she loves him and pleads to him not to leave her, how will Ashley respond?
Hayley is upset by the news of her aunt's death and tries to keep herself busy in the café. She tells Roy that her aunt was always there for her and that even though her family won't like it, she will attend her funeral.
Norris is behaving like there is something on his mind and he talks to Rita, Doreen and Emily about life over sixty. His behaviour puzzles them but will they work out what is on his mind?
Cilla and Frank have a drink in the Rovers with Fiz and John and they celebrate her first day of work.

Roy and Hayley attend her aunt Monica's funeral but are immediately greeted with hostility from Monica's brother-in-law who tells the mourners about Hayley's past. Her uncle Bert apologises for their behaviour but Roy soon puts them in their place.
After the service, Bert gives Hayley a jewellery box which belonged to her aunt containing a few odds and ends. She goes through the box with Becky and is shocked to find old letters and photographs of herself as Harold but she doesn't let Becky see she has found them. What information will the letters contain?
Ashley and Claire visit her mums to pick up the rest of Claire's stuff and leave Kirk in charge of the butchers. Casey stops by and leaves a message for Ashley that if she can't contact him she will contact Claire. When Kirk gives him the message he rings Casey who asks him to give her another chance, how will Ashley respond?
Norris talks about being lonely to Doreen but when she replies that he has Emily for company he explains it's not a proper relationship.
Carla books an appointment at the salon because she is meeting a client and mentions to Maria that he needs someone to put his smile on his face.
31st August
Hayley takes the day off work and Roy is concerned when she is very irritable with him. Becky visits her at the flat and arrives with Hayley in a somber mood. She breaks down in front of Becky and confesses that she has a son.
A confused Becky asks how she has found out and Hayley tells her that one of the letters is from a lad wanting to meet his father but Monica wanted to protect her so never let her see them. Becky tells her she needs to find out about her son but Hayley doesnt want to hurt Roy as he thinks she is a virgin, what will Hayley decide to do and will she tell Roy about her lost son?
Norris asks an intrigued Emily to meet him for dinner as he has something very important to tell her. She enters the salon to find Violet discussing Norris's club and tells the salon that Norris is looking to remarry according to his mates leaving Emily very worried. They meet for dinner and Emily is very tense, will she be the one that Norris asks to have and to hold?
Ashley takes the day off work and spends the day with Claire. They go for a walk but return to find Casey sat on their garden wall, Claire wants to apologise to her and asks her in for lunch. Ashley gives Casey a lift home and before she exits she tries to kiss him, how will Ashley respond?
Frank offers to take Cilla on a holiday to Las Vegas.
