Does this mean Deano attacked Patrick? I don't get it - Why would anyone attack anyone to get at someone else?

This seems a very bizarre storyline!

Deano has never had a run in with patrick as far as i can remember and as already been said,it's a bit full on to attack him just to get back at sean.

:searchme: :hmm:

On their past form, one arrest in a year for the Walford cops would be considered remarkable. Two would be a cause for celebration. But three is a such a monumental achievement they’ll probably waggle their truncheons in the air.
With such an invasion of boys in blue you’d think they were giving away free sets of handcuffs with every pint in the Vic, the forces of law and order pull off a sensational hat-trick this week. On Thursday, they collar those snivelling, cowardly wretches Chelsea and Deano ‘for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice’. And on Friday, they nick Craig for ‘the attempted murder’ of Patrick.
But none of this is down to good detective work. Instead there are a couple of lucky breaks. There’s that incriminating CCTV tape being in Shouty Man Kevin’s possession. Then Lucy Beale has an MP3 recording of Deano’s confession that he and Chelsea lied about seeing Sean attack Patrick, as she blackmails dumb and dumber out of £500 – so that she and the real villain Craig can run away together.
‘At least ’e ain’t a joke like you,’ she shouts at dad Beale The Squeal, being very much Cindy’s spiteful brat again. ‘You’re a wimp who comes home smellin’ of chip fat. No wonder mum wanted you shot. Shame she didn’t get the job done propah!’
While Chelsea and Deano are blubbing down the cop shop, 13-year-old Lucy gets all tearful when Craig tries to pull out an offensive weapon in their hotel room. And then there’s the revolver he shows her, too.
Realising she’s out of her depth, Lucy tricks him into returning to Albert Square on the pretext that they can rob her dad’s businesses – even if it’s unlikely the takings of the cafe and a chippie would get them much further than Romford, never mind Rio De Janeiro.
Unluckily for Craig, he’s had his chips as the cops surround his car and batter him…
