Will be showing on 21st September 2007 on the Disney Channel for those of you (like me) who can't wait!!! A month after it first shows in the US, but still, not too long now....

my son gave me the movie for christmas, it was so cute, I was hoping for a sequel, I had no idea it was a series on Disney ( which I sadly can not get here in Holland )

Marley is already bugging me to buy the new HSM 2 CD by the time we see the film I will know all the songs of by heart. :rotfl:
I prefer the 2nd one to the 1st, i don't knwo why. But yeh :thumbsup:

For anyone living in Edinburgh or nearby areas. The High School tour bus is going to be at the gyle shopping centre this weekend. Where they are holding a talent contest and giving away goodies. I have looked on the gyle webpage but there is not conformation of time yet. I'm going to take a wander down anybody want to join me in a sing-a-long of we're all in this together. :rotfl:

Ive seen it too spicy i thought the same about the first being better but ive since changed my mind and i am as obsessed with this one as i was the first one :cheer:
Ive seen it too and I have to say I really liked it, at some points I thought I wasnt too sure but No i really liked and and I loved some of the songs, not all of them, but its high school musical and i love it!!!

Can't wait till this is on tomorrow, got my friend and her little girl coming round because i had them watch the first one with me when i got it on DVD around xmas last year and my friend loved it so i said she can come watch 2nd with me too :D ive already seen it but still can't wait

I like that Humahuma song. It's catchy :D.
I think the first is better than the second personally. I was rather disappointed with the second. I do like it though.

You should listen to Troy singing on both films, he deffintely sounds different
Listen to the song when Ryan is dancing with them the next time you watch it

Yeah deffo i just refer to it as track 11 but sure HumaHuma sounds good, we know what its meant to mean and it does sort of look like it could be HumaHuma

Did you know though, that it wasn't just Zac singing on the first one, it was a mix of his voice and the guy that played Troy in the HSM live show. That is some of the reason why his voice sounds different - just a bit of trivia there for you :)

and yeh to me it does sound a little like Everyday, like a musical bit lol and I do love the second one, I do like the songs better but storywise its harder to choose

Yes i know about that, which is why i prefer 2nd one as it sounds better when it isn't dubbed, plus the songs are better aswell i like more of them in the second one having only watched it 4 times than i did with the first one.
Layne i agree i don't dance was the first song i liked in it.

I agree, it is really quite good, clever to incorporate baseball into the dance
I managed to catch it before i left on Saturday and i was plesently surprised ithought that being a sequal it would be a bit of a let down but it really wasn't. I loved i don't dance it was brillant, in fact all the choreography was amazing. The only thing is some of the scenes looked a bit bright like when the were out on the golf course my sister described it as tellytubby land due to the bright colours.

I think the cheesy songs are the ones people tend to enjoy the most, i know i certainly do, i think it's the cheesy ones aswell that are most likely to stick in people's head

Vanessa Hudgens has reportedly been axed from the third installment of High School Musical.
According to reports, the actress is no longer required by the show's producers, who are concerned by the "baggage" that she brings since nude photos (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/a75271/high-school-musical-star-snapped-naked.html) of the star leaked onto the internet.
A source told OK!: "Disney finally decided that they don’t want her back.
"They feel that as long as Zac Efron is in the movie, all will be fine.

Yeah i can see why people have an issue but i just think she was doing it privately no one was meant to find out so what is the deal
I know, I think the main problem is cos Dinsey's audience is children and if they think Vanessa did something to put people off her, it would put people of the films
It was done privetly so how the press got it is just a mystery unless someone sold it but yeah. It's not like she did it as Gabriella she did it as vanessa althrough as abbie said they might just want nothing more to do with her.

It hasn't been said when it is due out, there are so many rumours as to what its about but even so none of the current cast have agreed to do it either

Yeah i heard both of them, i like the idea of graduation but it won't be right if it isn't Troy/Gabbi and co, there is talk of putting it on at the cinema aswell but again they can only do it if Zac and the rest of the original cast agree to do it
To be honest i wouldnt of thought they would go through with the last film if they dont get the cast

It was only for Disney channel because no body expected it do be as successful as it was/is, being taken to the cinema would kind of be a fitting tribute to all involved

I aint saying it wont be awesome, i bet it will be fab i the cinema and from the first look the film looks fab but i just think that it was a disney channel original movie it should stay that way, but like i say im sure it will be fab

I guess I just come from a grease era and find it annoying at times, especially if you have seen it a million times and have your daughter singing songs from it all the time....

I love both Grease & HSM but i have to say HSM is my fave, i dont think i will ever like a set of musical films the way i like HSM

Ok gang I am holding up my hand,, I am a Grandma of 2 and I loved both HSM .. I thought they were cute, ok they were not in the same genre as GREASE ( it is my all time fave ) I have no problem admitting I like teeny bopper movies:p Actually any thing with loads of dancing and singing, I want to own it :D
I love HSM, although preferred the first to the second - will be interesting to see the third, although not happy its airing in the cinemas before the Disney Channel - kind of cashing in even more on it if you ask me. I'll have to wait till its on Disney before I can see it :(

Will it be on Disney channel aswell? i thought it was just going to the cinema...could be wrong though but that is what i thought
I don't know tbh Vicky, but I hope so - if not, they'll have let a LOT of fans down thats to be sure.

Yeah, it would be awesome if they do put it on disney channel as that is where it started but i didnt think they would do if it was going to cinema, i'll have a look aswell see what i can find out.
EDIT: Ems, i have just seen the previews again and right at the end it said "only in cinemas" so im guessing not :confused:

it will probably be on the tv at some point though, most films normally are. its probably just that it will be at the cinemas first, then when it finishes at the cinema you will probably only have to wait a few months til its on the disney channel or some other channel
ive only seen the first one, which i saw on bbc1 one xmas cos we dont have the disney channel. havent seen the 2nd one cos it was on good friday this year but i had a last minute training for the cheerleading competition we had the next day so i missed it
although from this thread it looks like im one of the only ones that didnt like it! dont get me wrong i didnt hate it, but i think cos i watched it quite a while after everyone else had seen it and everyone was going on about how good it was, i dont think it lived up to the hype as i was expecting it to be a lot better. if there was no hype surrounding it i might have enjoyed it a bit more cos i wouldnt have been expecting anything

Still, some say that it should be bigger and better for being a proper Disney movie rather than an Original movie (I presume cos of budgets).

They are taking HSM3 to cinemas...no doubt about it, its the last time we see Troy and co, they are planning a 4th one with a relative of one of the current characters being a main character, so maybe Troy has a cousin or something

Is that preview getting anyone else excited at all?? its ages till it comes out aswell :( they did that last year, all the hype started in the summer and it wasnt out until autmn :rolleyes: and the soundtrack isnt out till 4 days before the film is...that sucks

I wouldnt worry about it i take photos in shops all the time :lol: they are bound to have HSM related stuff around the park too...my mum is off to disney land paris next week and they got a HSM show there, they are bound to have one in america...ive given mum instructions to buy me something HSM :D
Ooo, Well at the moment Im on the disney parks websites cos Im printing the calendars off for July and August (cos we are their for a month and wanna plan some of our time) So maybe I'll look around on the websites for HSM stuff :p

There should be its mental out there with HSM, there are loads of HSM/zac/ashley/corbin/vanessa/lucas fansites so it must be popular out there

Awww i saw a big cardboard cutout advertising HSM3 in a cinema near where my cousin lives...i took a pic when i find it i will post it :thumbsup:
