The Mitchell Sisters

Thought we could start a thread to chat about the two new additions to the Mitchell clan.

What's everyones initial thoughts on the pair? I think they're both brilliant characters, headstrong, witty and entertaining. I can see a lot of potential with the pair and cant wait to see what's ahead for the pair.

A promising start tonight, lets say I think their going to ruffle a few feathers thats for sure. Two capable actresses particulary Samantha Janus, so I think their going to be a great addition cant wait to see what they have in store. Chris I think their the daughters of Eric's brother.

I think that's just becuase she's the oldest sister, keeping Roxy in check. I see a fair few similiarites to Jake & Danny. The older and wiser one, and the younger and fiery one.

Their dad is brothers with Eric (Peggy's Husband & Father Of Phil/Grant/Sam)

I love their characters already. I think they were great tonight and delivered some fantastic lines. I liked how Ronnie told Ian to "shut it" when he was having a go at Peggy. :D

And when they were in the taxi, "I can't keep them in" (to taxi driver) "That's your tip" :D

I liked Bradley's small scene with the sisters too and it seems that Roxy is going to take Bradley under her wing - can't wait! :thumbsup:

I thought they had some great scenes tonight, and a great entrance plot, rather than the usual, get off of bus/tube and blend quietly to the background.

Can't wait to see how the rest of the Mitchells react to them, and them with Honey, in particular.

The pair of them remind me so much of Sam, and I loved the part where someone said, "Don't tell me there's more of you!"

These girls are going to be good... they are like Phil and Grant in some respect.. immediately dissing Billy asking if his wife was imaginary and you have the strong, responsible type (Ronnie) and the wayward one (Roxy) like Phil and grant were when they first joined... They had a good introduction, i liked how Peggy didnt actually realise who they were at the start. When the older one Ronnie said to Deano "she's have you for breakfast" They made numerous good impressions, a doubt Stacey will be a fan.

Loving the way they're deliberately getting on Shirley's nerves. I thought Roxy was good with Ben, and I think it would be good to see what Bradley says to her after she made him wear clothes that Stacey didn't think suited him - she was supposed to be making him attractive to her. Would love it if some secrets about them were to come out :)

So far I much prefer Ronnie to Roxy - although I'm already getting fed up with her saying "you're doing that thing with your eyes again" every time she sees Ian.

I wasn't impressed when I heard Samantha Janus was joining the cast so I'm glad to be proved wrong. The other character though hasn't really done anything to make me either like or dislike her yet.

I have to agree. I prefer Ronnie to Roxy as well but they are both strong characters.

I love the EE advert with everyone staring at them in the Vic and they are both jumping up and down with this music track i really like and the caption is "The Vic under new management"

She needs to concentrate on business instead of men. Ronnie was right with her comment on it being a Sunday, and yes, some deliver on that day, but it was Sunday in the episode before so if he had been genuine, he would have delivered them then.

What happened to her meeting him round the side, as well?

I like them both and am glad that they will be around for a while, good to see the night club opening again too.:cheer:
