Hello everyone:bow:
Well, what can i say the final days of Stella are coming, and I will miss her scheming!
In the beginning, I liked her, for she was a nice change for Phil, when she started to become the "step mother" from hell, I was not a happy bunny.
However, it has been cleverly done, this transformation, and I will be glued to Eastenders all week.
So what next for PHil, lets match him with Shirley:thumbsup: , now there's a girl who will drive him at his own game!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I couldn't believe she had Ian warn her off of Phil, and then abuse his son like that. Shirley and Phil I really don't think will happen - Phil wants a mother for Ben, and Shirley isn't the type. He wouldn't put himself first again if he knew, I'm sure.
Welcome to SB. Just thought I'd point out the spoiler tags feature, as not everyone will want to know what happens to Stella, and the whole thread isn't a spoiler.

I will be sad to see her go, she's been great in this role, im just disappointed the producers didn't delve into her past a bit more. We don't really have much info as to why she is the way she is.

Chris, that too is my biggest disappointment.. did we find out what happened to her sister??

Earlier on in the episode she was explaining to Phil how her parents ignored her and made her feel like nothing.

I really hope that come tomorrow, EE dont just sweep the Stella business under the carpet and move on, ignoring questions that still need answering about her, for example what actually did happen to her sister and was she involved directly in her death? It would be good if her parents turned up in the square on Monday and revealed more about Stella's childhood and thus, why Stella is like she is. Ive got a feeling we may not get any answers to these questions though...:(

There was an interview with Sophie Thompson on Digital Spy and she said we won't know what happened with her and her sister and we should just use our imagination. Very dissapointed, i wanted to know more about her past!

Another wasted opportunity to create a decent story on why Stella was loppy.

I really do hope EE tell us what happened because I think it would be really poor of them if they just left it like that.
Yeah, not knowing is bothering me already. I hope she's written it all in a diary that can be found, or something.
I wonder if the parents say anything about Stella at the funeral.
There has got to be some explanation as what a waste of a character....

Yep, I agree Kath and Dave - Feel like a whole part of the story is missing, and thus, I would have liked an explanation as to why Stella was the way she was...and more about what happened to her sister...Otherwise, it will be disappointing and quite lazy, I personally think on the part of the writers, to just leave the rest of the story up to our 'imaginations'.

Leaving storylines half finished is one of the reasons why many viewers have become fed up with the writers and show. Stella could have been a great long term character to the show. It was a shame on poor Ben being abused like he was but they could have moved on from abusing him to Peggy buy thinking she was going looney. She could have been a female Nick Cotton when he tried to poison Dot. Then maybe we would have found out she has had a history of abusing people or mental health problems.

I wish she stayed in the show longer really - i don't understand why she didn't, didn't the producer decide to get rid of her early? As i first heard, she was staying until the end of this year which would have been a lot better.

Yes, I think she should have stayed in so that she could have been dealt with properly by the law. It's a bit of a cop out ending to have her dying and not get her due comeuppance.
It said on the Vixens show that they thought that the character couldn't go on without getting her comeuppace after the way she was torturing Ben recently, so they must have thought that younger viewers would see that as a commeuppance or something.

Will Phil be tried for Stella's murder and everything about Stella's past may come out in Court? That could be a possibility.

Phil won't be tried for Stella's murder as after he 'confessed,' the police got the CCTV from the roof which showed her falling. I suppose it could be a possibility if he is tried for wasting police time.

:thumbsdow What can I say, about the Stella business?
I had been on holiday, when I thought I had missed the story relating to Stella's sister etc, kept trying to find out what had happened.
Cannot believe that all these weeks on, no one is any the wiser.
It actually feels, like a complete episode has been missed out!
Is this the reason, why so many of us, have no idea just why Stella is the she is (or should I say was!!!)
Or perhaps, EE is going to do one of their story specials, and do a complete episode based on that story, and we will see Stella once again???:hmm:
I can't see there being any more of her after the EastEnders Vixens, which didn't mention her fall being that big a stunt to warrant a unique program for the episode, in which they could put her history.
