Anxiety Attacks

i have been suffering from bouts of anxiety which seem to be happening more frequent. they are usually irrational and are starting to be about anything, however trivial. i am even suffering because im going on holiday on saturday to dorset but because its out of my comfort zone im competely anxious about it. been to docs today after blubbering to my mum and he put me on beta blockers and im going to see a councelor. the thing is the things i am anxious about are completely trivial but i cant control it.
has anyone else suffered with anxiety attacks and how did you get over it?
