Alfie wanted to be a binman when he was five!! Awwwwwwwwwww!
Quite frankly I thought that was the only good bit in tonight's episode. That and Billy being able to make the card castle.
it was a very nice castle!!! shame when it fell down though

luving the way chrisie lied her bottom off to zoe about her past
bondboffin
What do you think Chrissie was lying about it? Chrissie seemed quite honest in what she said. I don't think she would of made up the fact that she had been married before and was upset because she never had children. It seemed clear when her and Den were together that babies were important to her. And I can definetely see how she would be jealous of Sharon.
I think Chrissie puts on a front a lot of the time. I really do think she feels bad about what happened to Den. I believe she loves him, but also feels very hurt and betrayed by what he did to her. I think it is hard for her to deal with Den's death.
Quite frankly I thought that was the only good bit in tonight's episode. That and Billy being able to make the card castle.
I though that was tripe along with Mo and Kats conversation. It was boring.
To me it was Chrissie and Zoe that stole the show. :)

Well well well,,,what an interesting episode,, but what was Kat and Lil Mo talking about?????:searchme:
Stacey's moment was all wrong for todays plot.. but I was more interested in what was happening at the Vic, Zoe socked Chrissie good,, but maybe some of u saw it as a weak punch, but it was a punch just the same and bloodied her lip.....Truth be told they both did well, and those other useless moments were just that totally USELESS,, who gives a hoot if billy and alfie are gonna grow up to be a knight or a bin man...
So on to the next episode tomorrow,, should be one heck of a "cliff hanger" for us to chew on till Monday,,
Just my 2 euro cents worth :o

How did Chrissie get a bloodied lip since Zoe didn't actually punch, the camera was right on cue and you could see she didn't hit her. If i was Zoe and after everything she put me through i would be hitting her with every kitchen appliance, everything to hand i could find.

Everytime that "Good Luck Zoe," banner was in shot, it seemed to miss out the "Good L" First time I saw it, I thought it said...well, something else ending in 'uck Zoe'.
I loved that episode. Jake/Chrissie moments, even if it wasn't the nicest of conversations. I loved Jake's little rant about how Chrissie's kept all of Den's stuff -- I've been wondering for ages when she's going to take that picture of pink Sharon down.
Great moments all the way through -- Danny was so sweet with Sam. I just liked all the little bits.
The Alfie and Billy conversation ("Alright?" "Yeah. You?" "Yeah." Long pause.) Reminded me of the conversations Alfie and Little Mo used to have. Does this mean we're going to have Balfie soon. (Sorry for that image, but that really is what I was reminded of.)
wow wee that was fantastic sharon/letitia looked really nice. can't wait till monday lol
Minty: what d'you want sam, tea or coffee
Sam: Coffee, and some chocolate biscuits. i loved that bit. wow wow wow

Poor Kat and poor Jake!
The ending was cool when Zoe, Sam and Chrissie turned round. EastEnders classic.
Welcome home Shannis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'd loveed that "hello girls, long time no see" then the shot of the three witches of macbeth...girl power!

I really enjoyed tonights episodes but it was one of those ones where there was a couple of scenes you really waited for an others that you just didn't want to wacth!
Sharon & Dennis - I really loved the foxes tonight (which someone told me symbolised Den, very clever - you learn something new everyday). Can't really say it was a brilliant Shannis episode. Good impact but they were there for a matter of seconds.
Jake & Chrissie - I love Chrissie tonight (when don't I) and I thought t was strange the way that Jake reacted. I wasn't expecting him to be thinking about giving on her but yet see her and come running back. I thought he well and truly over stepped the mark with that conversation but I 'spose it might either knock some sense into moving on or, I think it'll just make her fall apart even more. Brilliant scene though! She obviously like Jake and I'd like to think it was more than just a flirt she's just too scared to admit it to herself let alone Jake.
I can't wait untill next week...it's the aftermath I want to watch.

12 months is about the maximum contract EE will give. They don't usually offer longer because they don't want to say 'You can say to three years' and then run out of storylines. Remember 'Tish is a happily married woman who's 37. She might want to start a family soon. :D

I thought that's what Letitia leaving was all about, her starting a family. I assume she changed her mind. When she left at Christmas most assumed she had gone forever, I was very surprised when I heard she was coming back. If she decides to have a baby she will have to go on maternity leave, they may write it into the storyline, but she will still need time off won't she?! That will interfere with the storyline.

No, she was leaving to do Panto and spend more time with her husband. She said she would be back and she kept to her promise.

The foxes were brought in when Den returned as a symbol of the two Dennis's
Most of the time they were cut from the scenes but occasionally they could be spotted. One episode being just after Den's arrival, Dennis did a runner and as he headed for the tube there were the foxes nearby eating out of bins (again)
In fridays episode it was to symbol Dennis's return but also a kind of symbol that Den's still around

if you do media studies yoiu;ll learn that everytthing in everything is there for a reason... people stand in a certain position, wear something and things appear all for a reason...they mean something...nothing is placed there by coincidence

Foxes were chosen apparently to represent the characters of the father and son
I looked on the net and it said foxes are seen as cunning and wily as well as quick
The red fox deserves its reputation as a resourceful, opportunistic forager.

Really good show tonight!! first time in ages i've watched a whole episode.
Sharon and Kat in the market were great (Please someone get Sharon some nice clothes, she's got a lovely figure and needs to drop the black jacket!!!)
Dennis's attitude is a bit anoying (being the big I am) but i''m sure he will get over it once he realises he's staying put!!. Can see trouble brewing between him and Jonny though!

whoa what a eppie eh. shannis is back zoe is going, can anything get any better! loved todays eppy.lovely dennis looked moody as ever but hey thats the way i like him. i loved it when he said nothing to johnny and just looked at him and said nothing. also the bit in the pub where everyone was having a go at him, and dennis just stood there throwing everything back in the faces. kat looked like she was gonna beat the hell out him, it was funny when she went to punch dennis but ended up hitting garry! cant wait till tommorow.
wow.. that was such a good episode. can't wait for tomorro, a lot of stuff happens. i kinda feel sorry for chrissie what with evrythings thats happening to her.
BITCHY SHARON IS BACK!!!
I just loved her and Kat at the market. I thought the contact there was great. Sharon remained strong but she didn't give into having a petty fight on the street. She remained strong and walked away. I love her attitude -this is why Sharon Watts is my favourite character! The women is a godess!
As for Dennis, great to see him at his cocky and sarcastic best. Absolutely brilliant and him blanking Johnny was just class!
Well done ee and its great to have shannis home. What a great strong combo they make. May it long continue!
hi alisha, how are you? we always wanted shannis back together and finally after along time they are back. i still remember all our chats and debates we used to have in the bbc boards.

Oh yes I remember -I used to love them and still chip in when there is one. its a great storyline to discuss and a complex one at that. I am so pleased that ee bited the bullet and got them back together- right choice. What I love most is how different they they -stronger, better-more assured! Just loved it. Let it long continue......
i think they have came back stronger because now they know noone can stop them being together, they are able to just be with each other knowing there are no other complications in the way. i think this has made them stronger characters, glad sharon is being bitchy and dennis is being quite cheeky lol lovin it!
Tonights eppi was top clas, EE are back on top (always were for me anyway!)

Yes Chrissie was talking about Sharon when she said the 'other woman', she didn't worry about the affairs so much, it was just Sharon who got in the middle of their relationship, out of no fault of her own, but she was the love of Den's life!

Yes, a great episode tonight. Definitely back to the good old days that made Eastenders such a success. It's been through a bad patch but now looks as though it is ready to re-establish itself as the No.1 soap.
One thing I didn't fully understand though is why Zoe cancelled her flight to Ibiza. I would have thought that when Sharon and Dennis turned up that would have been even more reason for her to get away as quickly as possible.
I have to say I haven't been looking forward to an episode like tonight's for a long time it seems Eastenders is back where it belongs on top I have watched it five times already all the way through that doesn't include fast forwarding he he
Nigel Harman and Letitia Dean were superb it was like they'd never been away
I loved all the one liners mainly from Dennis as he back to his sarcastic and not giving a damn attitude I loved his scenes with Pauline they cracked me up "Bettie stop wagging your tail at him" :rotfl:
Shannis is offically back and back in style loved every single moment of it and will enjoy tomorrow's even more
One question though what happened on Friday after they left the pub weird of what I'd of thought they'd of wanted to lynch Dennis there and then
Sarah Phelps you did us proud once again :cheer:

My view, on tonight's episode, in one word, would have to be................................................ ................ BRILLIANT!!! :cheer:
Please could users remember to date the episode they are reviewing to prevent confusion?
Well folks I watched the complete episode tonight and have to say it was much improved. Nigel Harman was absolutely brilliant in tonights episode. He seems to have had a complete personality change as well as acting lessons in his absence. However Letitia Dean was IMHO absolutely dire. Her eybrows seemed to do all the acting. Who does Sharon Watts think she is. And she is still wearing that bloody black coat. Kat Slater was her usual loud-mouth gobby self. What was the purpost of the Moonies in tonights episode. Well still it was a Miller free zone so we must be thankful for small mercies.
The script tonight was sparkling and full of one-liners and put downs too numerous to mention. Well done to Sarah Phelps. Lets hope that this is the start of the long awaited EE revival and not just a flash in the pan. Dennis definately was the highlight of the show, especially the scene between him and the part time gangster/social worker/all round good guy Johnny "do you know who I am" Allen

Sharon started off so well! She didn't have the black coat on Friday...
I thought one of the most poignant scenes of that episode was Sharon and Kat in the market place standing up to one another.
The last five minutes were actually the best except for Zoe 'Man Shoulders' Slater and her screaming and overacting. God how I wish she had got the flight to IBIZA
Well it wasn't going to be a calm evening in the pub was it? It had to be a frantic scene.
The only pub that was quiet tonight was the Woolpack
Oh I can't believe you endured that tonight! Was awful.
I thought Emmerdale was superb tonight and the acting by Leah Bracknell as Zoe Tate was top notch. Oh how I detest Scott Windsor
They totally ruined her character when they decided she wouldn't be a lesbian anymore after being one for years and now she's gone back to being one again.
Thats her schizophrenic alter ego that likes men and burns down churches and sh*gs slimeballs
Thats her schizophrenic alter ego that likes men and burns down churches and sh*gs slimeballsShe wasn't in one of her phases when she started a so-called relationship with Scott though.
Anyways let's not hijack this thread because they'll probably all go mental if they come here to read about EastEnders lol :D
yes sorry to the EE fans out there
I thought last nights episode had a superb script too. Dennis had the most one-liners.
I thought both Letitia Dean and Nigel Harman excelled themselves last night.
I loved the way Sharon has come back as a hard faced women. This is how she should be and she plays it so well. Hats of to her and may it long continue. Her conversation with Zoe was brilliant. I'm glad that ee have re-established her strong aura. They have it spot on this time.
Loved Dennis one liners too -absolutely brilliant.
One word excellent! Can't wait for tonight and especially looking forward to look on everyones faces especailly the Slaters!

I am smiling and tearing simultaneously. This episode was absolute perfection on all forms. Letitia Dean and Nigel Harman are acting powerhouses. I know the writing was excellent, but these 2 bring the show to another level as well. The combination of well developed character and brilliant acting creates a riveting and unforgettable performance. I love Sharon and Dennis! 10/10 :cheer:

whoa what a eppie eh. shannis is back zoe is going, can anything get any better! loved todays eppy.lovely dennis looked moody as ever but hey thats the way i like him. i loved it when he said nothing to johnny and just looked at him and said nothing. also the bit in the pub where everyone was having a go at him, and dennis just stood there throwing everything back in the faces. kat looked like she was gonna beat the hell out him, it was funny when she went to punch dennis but ended up hitting garry! cant wait till tommorow.
:rotfl:
kat had me in stitches!
KAT: Someone get him outta here before I pull his face off!
:rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh, Dennis and Pat are amazing as well. I am looking forward to their friendship and I want Dennis to kick Johnny's ass! It would also be cool to see more interactions between Kat and Sharon. And the Chrissie/Sharon scene was enigmatic!

Loved last night's eposide - Kat was great can't wait for tonight :cheer: :cheer:
As about everyone has said, last night's episode was brilliant. Loving all of Dennis' one-liners. Loving him with Johnny Allen ( I think he kind of know that Johnny knew what had happened to Andy) and when he went round to see Andy. Main downside to that episode: Zoe! I could even bear Pauliune as she was quite funny with her and Dennis. Cant wait for tonight.

wow that epi was absolutely brill! :) how did i guess it was written by sarah phelps, by far the best writer ee has. i loved the whole lot of it yesterday, the bit at the beginning with pauline and dennis, kat and alfie, chrissie and sharon, the way all the slaters were gaining up on dennis, the way dennis was with johnny allen both in the bookies and in the vic. i have a feeling dennis knows who johnny allen is as when pat said "do you know who he is" dennis said yes but it seemed like johnny didnt know dennis. and everyones shocked faces in the vic when dennis answered johnny back, loving dennis attitude throughout. loved all the oneliners and dennis sarcy comments. the acting was really good as well from everyone. as someone else said, i even liked pauline and zoe in that epi and thats something i thought id never say! cant wait for tonights epi, looking forward to the whole week if its anything like lasts nights. well done ee youre back on form keep it up!!!

i know, its unfair as i aint allowed to watch anything til my sis gets in from school as i get home before her. then we can watch anything that we recorded the previous evening and anything thats on the tv then (which only consists of kiddie shows and countdown as we dont have sky so not much to watch!) and we can watch the tv til about half 5/6 oclock. we manage to watch hollyoaks when my mum goes to pick my dad up but thats it. after that we have to do homework/revision. its so unfair :( just cos my mum thinks that i dont do my homework or dont do it properly cos the tv is distracting me, what she dont know is i just come on here instead lol!

I liked Zoe tonight. Even though she didn't tell everything (about faking the baby at first) when she was talking to Dennis, she seemed more mature than she's been before, and to me it felt genuine.
Then of course it went downhill when she started screaming and screeching at Kat. I've decided I don't actually like Kat that much since she's been back. I don't know why, I just don't.
I thought tonights eppi was again fab stuff,

Then of course it went downhill when she started screaming and screeching at Kat. I've decided I don't actually like Kat that much since she's been back. I don't know why, I just don't.
Yes I liked Zoe and Dennis's conversation too, they left things on good terms. They realised that both of them had made mistakes. I know sleeping with her boyfriends father isn't the best thing Zoe could of done, but Dennis loved Sharon all the way through Zoe and Dennis's relationship, he certainly wasn't white as snow. I'm glad he made a truce with her, because she has really been through with the mill with Den. She didn't deserve him to be cruel to her. That's my opinion anyway.
I saw tonight that Dennis really wants to see Den, unfinished business hey! Dennis likes his revenge doesn't he? He's very intuitive do you think he'll find out soon?!

Hi i think it gave them closure in some way that it was the end that they could look forward to the future and put the past behind them it sounds stupid that what i saw it i dont know about anyone else
Kats going to be a loose cannon if Zoe tells all!! thought the scene's between Zoe and Kat tonight were great, really emotional.
Poor Chrissie and Sam, they really cant do anything to stop it getting out. I really love how the power in this storyline has changed between the three women!! For a change Zoe is the one in control for now??

Only a couple of hours ago I said to my mate that I wasn't warming to Kat at all I use to love her character but at the moment she's scarily like an older version of Zoe (not surprising I know) with the all ME ME ME stuff
As for tonight top stuff loved it all especially the Dot and Dennis scenes and the Shannis scenes and the Jakssie scenes (I cried) he he

good episode but for me it was ruined by them filling in time with alfie and nanna dancing round,
Excellent! I loved the way they showed Jakisse and then Shannis then back to Jakissie again. Also I like the way they show Dennis and then Jakey in the same way.
Glad to see Zoe fessed up but it wasn't just her who got humiliated it was D and Chrissie as well. Loved the Jakissie scenes and the way Jakey was protective and masterful towards Chrissie.
Lil Mo, Nana and Alfie that was funny and sweet. I love nana Moon.

I thought Charlie had the best bits in last night's episode. Firstly when he told Zoe "We haven't brought you up like that" (referring to her sleeping with Den). Er, excuse me Charlie, didn't you also bring up Kat???
Secondly was when he went off to sort out Den. As if Charlie would stand any earthly chance up against Den!
Some good stuff coming out of Walford though these days. It's a great concept having this week's episodes all taking place consecutively on one day.

loved lastnights episode. i thought i never hear myself say this but i actually felt kinda sorry for zoe honestly i really felt she was being genuine. and she wasn't moaning and acting like a stupid little girl like she used to do. also i love kat she is so funny when she is screaming and shouting and the evil looks she gives dennis is hilarious. the only downside was molfie. need i say more..

Like i said before in my yesterday post i think she felt it was over that it was time to let go their was no way they could be a couple because her love was kinda one sided in that situation you could either act really inmaturely and beg or act like a mature woman and accept it the way it is
But when she said i would of done anything because i love you or something i like i thought not enough to let him go in the first place when she lied at christmas

I couldn't believe it when Zoe started saying that she wanted to sleep with Den - it was like she didn't even care what anyone thought of her anymore. I agree that Zoe did seem more mature and less selfish but characters always become better just before they are about to leave.
I loved all the Shannis and Jakissie bits, but I thought Alfie and Little Mo were pretty boring. I don't know why, but I just can't be bothered with their storyline!

Another character that's annoying me is Sam. She just doesn't seem to fit into this storyline at all. All the other characters (Chrissie, Zoe, Kat, Sharon, Dennis) seem to fit in naturally. Even characters that are only now being brought into it, like Jake. Even characters only just in the storyline, like Pauline (due to her having the murder weapon). They just fit in the storyline, whereas Sam was there that night, and she just seems completely out of place. As far as I can tell, she has no ties to any of the other characters involved, and she even said herself that she doesn't want the Vic anymore. So what is she still doing here?

mitchell return this autumn...
she will finally have a purpose...then again she is leaving if daniella dosent repolace her
rather than chrissie killing her, id love to see chrissie frame sam for murder... removing any traces that it was her that actually killed den first, imagine the coppers dragging her out of the vic inforn to peggy , grnat and phil, and chrissie with a smile all over her face

Yeah, but right now...what's her purpose? She's just hanging around being annoying until her family come back.
It would be better if they established ties between her and some other characters that are actually here now, that are involved in the storyline now.
As far as I can tell it's only going to be Chrissie that Kat's gunning for, so Sam has nothing to worry about there. Besides I don't think I can take weeks of her panicking and going "What are we going to do Chrissie?" We had Zoe for that.
i just thought i let you guys know if you already didnt, that Nigel Harman will be on 'friday night with Johnathan Ross this friday at 10.30pm

Exactly! if she truly loved him she would have been happier to let him go. true love is not about selfishness and obsession and she was both of those things. she was so selfish she wanted dennis all to herself and it didnt matter to her if he wasnt happy. if she really loved him, the most important thing is that she would have wanted him to be happy. unlike sharon who truly does love him and she put his happiness before herself, thats true love
phew sorry had to get that out!

Nigel is becoming a bit of a regular there now isn't he. I remember he was on it just after Dennis and Sharon first slept together, they showed a clip of that episode on the programme. I think that was one of the first interviews I saw of him. I remember thinking how far away Nigel was from his character. I wonder what they'll be talking about this time, hopefully a lot about what's coming up in EE.
oh i missed that! damn it i would have liked to have seen that! oh well i can watch him this friday! lol
I remember his last appearence he was cute and I've still got Nigel's interview with Parky on video

I was wondering when the Slaters would find out. Vhew. Did you see the loos on their faces when she said Den was o blame on Monday night and the look on kat's face when she said "He isn't here, he isn't anywhere, he's dead. Den's dead Kat". Vhew cannot wait till tonight,
i know kats face was funny! she was kind of smiling, thats a bit weird. i agree zoe cant really act that well but the 'you aint my muvver' storyline she was fab then! how do you lot tape all these things? i mean if i done that im sure my mom would think i was mad! she'd probably be worried about me lol

I thought 2nite eppy was good, i thought the last bit where it flashed back to tell the story was good, and quite spooky lol.
Eastenders is getting better and better, its on its way back up again
the last bit was a bit spooky but it confused me aswell, im gonna have to watch the omnibus anyway because certain people were talking when i was trying to watch it!
Eastenders was v. good tonight. The bit where they were showing where everyting happened, that was so creepy but yet so good. As people have been saying. I think Michelle's acting ability has started to fade again! Can't wait for tomorrow and the next couple of weeks! Eastenders is definetly getting way better again. Watch out Corrie.

I found myself feeling really sorry for Zoe despite the fact that she was foolish and selfish at first. What Den put her through was horrible. That was really creepy the way they flashed back. I think both Jessie and Michelle were brilliant. Kat looked so shocked though. I think she does believe now that he;s dead. Oh my word. What'll happen tomorrow?
i know this might sound a bit weird but i am going to miss zoe...even though she annoys me but i will miss her shes been a big part of ee for 5 years now. :crying: no zoe dont go come back! ok i wouldnt go that far.....
Michelle and Jessie acted their socks off and it was fabulous.

Did Zoe tell Kat about Chrissie paying for the aortion too and lying to her about who murdered Den and Sam telling her the truth. I'mwatching tonights episode again on BBC Three, I think its brilliant. Kat's face at the end - she was so shocked. I'm sure the Slaters including Kat are not angry at Dennis or Sharon now.

Last night eppi had a bit to much kat and zoe in for me, but the whole dennis doing the plumbing well i liked that  specially when he waggled his fingers ha classic!!!
I loved the bit at the end like the flash back thing, sam in the bar chrissie on the stairs, i never kjnew there was a crack on the fruit machine til last night!

I thought the best bit last night was Pauline wanting to plunge and being disappointed when Dennis told her it was all clear.
wow it got a bit spooky, i thought den was gonna pop up suddenly! now that would've have been good. but anyways loved the eppy a bit too much kat and zoe but then again i suppose it was needed. loved stacy's theory about who's den's mystery girl was.
