As two highly watched comedies, that been screaned for 10 and 6 seasons which one were you most upset at seeing end?
I think mine would have to be sex and the city alhoughit ended on a very good note with characters lives nicely rounded I felt as if there was more they could have done. Unlike friends which I did think had run its course by the end I was really pleased that Ross and Rachel ended up together as they were destined but as for the Joey spinoff I felt it spoilt the whole point of the show no matter what happened or what ever paths their lives took they would always be there for each other but since Joeys moved he seems to have forgotten all about them.

I was in tears by the end of it.
I remember the last lines.
"Lets go and get some coffee." and then "Where?!?"
:crying: Oh well.

And if David Schwimmer misses friends so much why not have a friends reunion? :searchme:

oooh hard one!! loved them both and was sad when both ended!!

if i have to choose it will be sex and the city!
as you say lushlooke there was so much more they could have done whereas i think friends had done enough with their characters!!

i used to watch the repeats of sex and the city on a wednesday on channel four!! they were showing right fromthe pilot episode nut they stopped them when desperate housewives started i hope that they start showing them again soon

Friends Was The Better Ending - Friends Was Better Than Sex And The City Anyway! Friends Was Much More Funnier It Had Better Characters And Much Better Story Lines Like Wiv The Hole Ross And Rachael Thing! And Chandler And Monica Getting Together! Friends Was By Far The Better Of The 2!

never watched sex and the city so ill have to say friends, it was great! hopefully theyll do some sort of special reunion epi in a few years time, that would be good :) but i do agree the joey spin off is terrible

I love them both, but its got to be Friends for me!!!

My grandad had taped it for me because i was on holiday and everyone was talking about it!!

your right joeys never mentioned his friends once you thought he would of seen as chandeler and ross were his best mates

But I am a huge friends fan... would watch them over and over and over. With Sex and the city, if there is nothing else on, i will watch.. It is just soft porn show

I miss sex and the city most cos there are always friends repeats on the telly! But guess what, double sex and the city on channel 4 tonight at like midnight. I'll be setting my video!

I agree that you cant compare the 2 shows as they are totally different.But it has to be friends I love watching friends again and again

sex and the city, even tough i didnt watch it, all my mates hated it ending and so i hated it to lol, sounded good, id have loved to have watched it

friends i hate becuase well dont get me started so i never had no emotions when it ended, i found the episode quite funny actually

I thought that Sex in the City was good, but a bit sad. Friends was uplifting and laugh out loud - I loved it!
