Has anyone been watching this?

I think its been a really good concert. I was only 7 when she died, so obviously i only really know of Diana from what has been said about her on the TV and word-of-mouth. But from what i hear, this is a really fitting tribute to her.

Ive been watching it - for anyone who thinks im heartless *cough*luna*cough* i thought sailing was really sad (this may be a personal thing cos of personal meaning of it but maybe its not because i dont usually find it sad - i think its just because its live)

Loved the entire show - some of the acts i could do without Lilly Allen being one of them but we can count ourselves lucky they didnt get Amy Winehouse but yeah fab show even if some of the acts are people i dont exactly like but hey we cant like everyone can we.

I've watched most of it, and have loved pretty much all of it. The range of artist's is excellent and a real tribute to Diana.

Maybe it's something a missed Vicky but what do you mean by sailing was sad? :searchme:

I really enjoyed the bits I saw, apart from the bit near the end with Ricky Gervais….that was cringe worthy…:o

Also I thought it was a nice touch letting that little tramp fella on, to end the show. lol Yep, it rounded up whats been a very entertaining concert….

Have to add Prince Harry looked mighty fine…

I watched bits and pieces of the concert. A fitting tribute to Diana who loved music. William and Harry have done her proud. They have grown up to be fine young men that any parent would be proud off.

Old Rod Stewart sang We are sailing....Thats the song, I think, Vicky is referring to.:)

I thought Missing You was much sadder...

Harry is much better looking than William now though IMO. And haven't Beatrice and Eugenie grown! Bea is the one that looks like Andrew isn't she? Very pretty girls.

And watching Mike Tindall dancing alongside Zara Philips - you're made for rugby mate, not dancing - but highly entertaining :rotfl:

what an awesome and IMPRESSIVE tribute to a beautiful woman from her boys,, I enjoyed every moment of the concert... Rod Stuart rocked, he had the whole stadium going nutz...
Ricky G........:wall: I could have done with out seeing him right before the last act,, oh my gawd...
Those young Princes have grown into gorgeous young men.. a fitting tribute to their mom who loved all sorts of music and DANCING :D

I went to the pub tonight, and they had it on over there, and everyone watched it. As sad as that may sound, but I felt that it goes to show how everyone felt about it. I thought that Rod Stewart and Take That were really good for me.

And I thought that video of Diana at the end was so sad. Such a great life wasetd :( I remember slightly when she died, like watching it on the news, and my dads reaction, was horrible really, but not about all what she had done, and it makes you realise about her.

Well done to Harry and Will I reckon! Bless them!

When Ferne interviewed Wil and Harry she asked them if their dad or the older royals were gonna be there, they said No, it was just for the younger set( his cousins ) so Charles and whats her face were not there :D

Which tramp??
Hands off, he's mine!! :D

The highlight had to be P Diddy with I'll Be Missing You. I was crying buckets. Harry seemed to be very moved by the performance, in particular. It always strikes me whenever the Princes are talking about their mother Harry seems to hold back and fidget a lot as if he's uncomfortable with talking about her.

I loved the Andrew Lloyd Webber meddley, although Anastacia spoiled it for me.

My favourite was Take That and Rod Stewart, that man can dance for his age. Thought both sets were good.

Loved the Andrew Llyod Webber stuff especially the three jospehs.

When I watched this last week and I was in tears when P Diddy sang 'I'll be missing you' such a sad song and it summed up the whole thing for me. I don't usually sit there and watch the whole concert as I am very picky with my music (R&B and Hip Hop for me mainly..:p) but this concert was brilliant! x

Even though I don't listen to the older artists I slightly did enjoy Duran Duran though (one of thier songs) haha. I loved watching the ballet! I find it so fascinating as I can't do any of them tippy-toe things and pirouttes (sp?), it got a bit boring towards the end though but I mianly watched it because it was Swan Lake and I had been watching Billy Elliot musical a few weeks ago and that was in it :p Throughout the whole thing I just kept thinking I wonder other wonderful things she would have done and how she might look like now and stuff. She was a great person, I'm sad I didn't see her as I was very young but my dad did. You don't really have to have met her to see how wonderful she is though, I guess!

I agree, i was 8 when she died and i didnt know most of that stuff they had come up on there about her but from what that showed (and i assume there must have been more she did that they couldnt fit in to that) she seemed like a really great person and really nice aswell, some people let their celebrity status get to them but to me it seemed like she did stuff normal people do (and she treated people normally aswell) only everyone saw it because she was famous

Did anybody was the interview on channel 5 with the two princes? It was good but the thing that really annoyed me was the way the film was edited. It would cut to videos halfway through one of the princes' speaking.

I preferred the old bands more like Rod Stewart and Elton John. I didn't like Fergie (did anybody notice the sound going on anf off during her performances?), Joss Stone or Tom Jones. P Diddy was amazing, probably the best performance of the night.

i liked durran duran, rod stewart, take that. the songs from the musicals and the josephs were just amazing! i sky plussed the whole thing then just went past the ones i didnt like!!! some were rubish, but overall the concert was great. i think joss stone has a great voice but boy does she love herself!

I noticed that JB, she's one of my favs and the sound was really bad so I was slightly disappointed by that.

I was like 5 when she passed away, I think my parents were crying a bit. Was a very sad time for everyone...

I was 7 and I remember the blanket coverage over all 5 channels (those were the days without Sky). It was a Saturday and I was so bored because the same thing was on every channel.

I can't believe its been ten years since she died.

Just because i got this on dvd for xmas and spent all day watching it yesterday i thought i would bring this topic back to life.

Rod Stewart - sailing on this concert never fails to make me nearly cry, i don't know what it is about it but it just always hits me that way
