i havent watched it but have read quite a bit about it. that was enough to decide not to watch it as i get so annoyed with kids and families like that!!

I watched this programme last night, it was quite sad really as by the end of the programme, the mother and child were back to square one. :(

It's quite sad as the kid seemed to not really care about how much the smoking was damaging his health and the mum obviously had no control over him, and kept making promises that she couldn't keep... they both need a lot of help, but judging from the programme, it seems they weren't getting much help at all.

This programme really annoyed me. His Mum was saying that she was "Beyond help" and stuff, but it was her giving him them! If she had been responsible, and stopped letting him have them, then he wouldnt have been able to smoke. Because he would have had barely any other source of getting them. She might be addicted, but that doesn't mean she cant do things to stop her son getting them, and getting addicted too. Just shows a lack of will power on her behalf, i think- to not smoke herself, and to put the effort in to make sure her son doesn't do the same.

Might sound harsh, but no mother should give their young son cigerettes. End of.

I only watched the very start of this and was really shocked by what I saw, their must be a way to stop him cos for the bit I saw he cant go on the way he was and his whole attitude towards it.
