Will Young voted No.1 Greatest UK Artist of All Time, UK

Fantastic! As part of UK Music Week which celebrates UK talent, a poll has been running to discover and count down ‘The 40 Greatest UK Artists Of All Time'

And thanks to all you guys casting your votes, Will has come out at number one for the second year running!

It’s an amazing feat as he was up against the likes of David Bowie and John Lennon, Will is proud and honoured to have made top billing and knows that he owes it all to his dedicated fans.

I like Will alot but not sure whether he deserves to be No. 1 of all time!!!!!

How the heck could he come top of a poll ahead of John Lennon or David Bowie come on he is nowhere near in the same league as them.

The poll results must surely be wrong?! :hmm: I cant believe he was voted ahead of peeps like David Bowie :eek: (just thinking of all the great songs Dave has wrote/sung, and the ones Will has wrote/sung...erm, NO comparison in my book) etc...

All I can think is Will's mum must have voted a fair few times...:lol:

I like Will Young.

But I like Jamie Cullen better.

Paul McCartney, John Lennon, David Bowie, Elton John, Eric Clapton (is God)..

he is a good singer but there are many many more better than him. i wonder who they had voting in the poll?

Who else is in the top 40?
And second year running?? He's recorded some great songs but there are other artists that have been around longer and are much better than him.

I don't understand this. I just looked at the site and found the top 40 http://www.thealist.co.uk/chart_alist.asp and Will Young doesn't even feature.

This week it's Kelly Clarkson. I think it changes every week :)
