well ive watched it from the start and im enjoying it, i like kitty and justin's bond, although i do like all the sibllings relationships, i like how they appear such a large close family whilst at the same time they all have their own secrets to hide.

I gave up on this last week, really boring and too slow for my liking, couldnt care less about a single character in the show. The sign of a good drama is one that gets you hooked from the start, Brothers and Sisters just didn't do that for me I'm afraid. :thumbsdow

im totally hooked on this show now, theres been quite a few secrets unveiled up to now and i now theres a lot more still to come, justins been called back to the army causing him to have an overdose and kitty to try and bribe the senator, whilst sarah kevin and tommy discover a piece of land that their dad owned which is now worth 30 million but due to to a clause in the contract holly harper owns a 1/3 of it, although she doesnt want 10 million she wants 5 million and 5 million worth of the FAMILY business.

sarah let it slip to kevin and tommy about rebecca their half sister and julia is pregnant.

I love this show. I saw the trailers and thought that it looked really good. I missed the first two episodes because i was away but ive watched every single episode since then and i'm hooked! I just love every part of it and it has so much depth and meaning. There isnt really many tv shows simular to this one.

For once Kitty actually solved a scandal rather than started one lol.

Rebecca, is truly one of the family now and i love her and justins relationship.

Kevin has matured since normally if scotty had came onto him he wouldnt have cared if he was in a relationship, but this time it was different - he must really love jason.

I feel really sorry for Tommy, it must be really hard for him and I think somewhere along the line if they have an argument the fact that tommy is not the biological father will come in to play. I think, it doesnt matter but perhaps is at the back at tommy's mind while they are going through what they are going through right now.

im really enjoying this series BUT i do think they are getting on too well and i enjoy when they argued soooo funny

wonder if tommy will finally stay away from lena this time - will julia and the baby ever come back

I hope everything does work out for Kitty and Robert but i couldnt believe when he said he was glad abou the miscarriage because he didnt want any more children

I know they are brother and sister but does anyone else see a certain spark between Justin and Rebecca - She def looked jealous when she saw him kissing Lena

I felt sorry for kevin when he told tommy about how jason has made no contact with him since moving to malaysia - Kevin finally settled with someone and this happened

I liked the way the family rallied around to help justin detox, tommy had a nerve to come in hours late after ignoring his fone becos he was with lena then have a go to everyone

Norahs a dark horse isnt she meeting up with her first love after all these years

I did love all the clever remarks sarah was throwing at rebecca, but i do have to say im glad rebecca is finally starting to speak her mind again

Sarah is more like an extra this series than a main character, hope we will see a lot more of her

yeah that david is so rebeccas dad - I think holly told rebecca the truth about her dad all her life, and william being a gentleman (apart from the affair) believed she was his daughter provided for her in his will and holly began her lie for the money.

Its so good to see a good old fashioned walker dinner party - everyone arguing.

Finally the tommy/lena secret is out and poor julia - I know she cheated but i think she did it through grief she was i mess when she left and after all it was her baby biologically that died,

Kitty and robert are finally on the same page about the baby situation i wonder what will happen there as kitty really wants a baby

I wonder what will happen to Kevin and scotty now that jason is coming back?

As for Sarah looks like a new relationship may be on the horizon

Im sooo glad Kevin and Scotty got married, they are sooo good together and Im glad things worked out in the end. The Walker family is getting bigger lol :p
I feel sorry for Kitty and Robert, but again sooo happy things are gonna work out for them by adopting :) They are great together so I think the adopting storyline will be good ( but who knows series 3 could start later down the line and they already have adopted)

I was shocked by what Kevin and Sarah pieced together. Another child!!!! Its gonna cause more upset within the family. SO hes gonna be Rebeccas age right? Maybe a little older? Series 3 is certainly gonna be interesting

Now on to Rebecca, Im glad she told in the truth in the end I knew she would :) I love it how the whole Family still want to be there for her and feel sorry for her since she has been lied to, about who she was. I think Rebecca could find it hard to deal with, Ryan maybe since at one point she was him, the secret Walker. And Rebecca did want to be part of the family.
But in a way Im glad shes not cos when Justin admitted his feelings, I was like awwww :wub: Cos there have always been hints, and I think they would make a really good couple :D

erm its the catchup thing for ch4 like iplayer. if you go on the ch4 website theres a link at the top that says 4od. you have to download it though before you can watch anything

Holly is worried that Ryan will claim the money that Senior Walker (can't remember his name) left to Rebecca. Legally he may have a claim, as Holly falsely led Walker to believe that Rebecca was his and we don't know whether he knew whether Ryan was. The fact that his password uses the letter R is too ambiguous. Sarah would probably encourage and assist Ryan to sue for the money!

Loved the letter episode. Nora is sooo funny! The whole family are. Noticed that Getty looked a little run down. Was this filmed when he first left his wife or are we to see the effects of Siennagate later on in the series?

Harrison Ford has reportedly asked his partner of seven-and-a-half years Calista Flockhart to become his wife.

Sources confirmed to People that the 66-year-old proposed to the Brothers & Sisters actress on Valentine's Day weekend.

The couple were apparently on holiday at the time with their son Liam, who Flockhart, 44, adopted as a newborn in 2001.

Flockhart and Ford live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and have been together since 2002. Sources said a wedding date is yet to be set.

On the heels of news that Rob Lowe is leaving Brothers & Sisters in May, sources confirm exclusively that his TV spouse, Calista Flockhart, will be working a reduced schedule next season.
An ABC spokesperson declined to comment except to say that Flockhart will remain a series regular. In other words she’ll most likely appear in at least 13 of next season’s 22 episodes.

Meanwhile, a Brothers & Sisters insider confirms that Flockhart’s lighter workload was a contributing factor in Lowe’s decision to flee. The West Wing alum already felt his role on the show had become diminished. The prospect of his TV spouse appearing in fewer episodes would’ve only increased his sense of marginalization.

Meanwhile, sources now confirm that a familiar face will come aboard the drama in the role of a 1970's William Walker.

Daniel Cosgrove - who has appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210, Dirty Sexy Money, Guiding Light and, most recently, The Good Wife - has signed on to play a version of Tom Skerritt's deceased character.

Emily VanCamp's role is being downsized in the upcoming season, meaning she won't appear in every episode. "They're still working out the exact number," says one source who works on the show. I'm told she'll be a recurring character.

As we've been reporting for a while now, "Bros and Hos" (as Dave Annable likes to call it) is dealing with budget cuts for its expensive and sizeable cast, which lead to the exit of Lowe in May, and now fewer episodes for VanCamp.

Calista Flockhart will most definitely be back as a series regular, along with Rachel Griffiths, and we'll be seeing more Gilles Marini, too.

As first reported by GiveMeMyRemote.com, Emily VanCamp is parting ways with Brothers & Sisters and her role of Rebecca. In the following exclusive interview, the Everwood grad sets the record straight about the circumstances surrounding her departure and teases the “traumatic” event that leads to Rebecca’s goodbye.

Is it true that you’re leaving?
EMILY VANCAMP: It is true. I’m going to go back for a couple of episodes, which I’m really excited about. I really feel like Rebecca has run her course. And the deal I was offered this year was for two more years, and I just felt like since renegotiations were happening that maybe it would be the right time to move on. I’ve been doing this for a very long time, and other opportunities have presented themselves that I haven’t been able to do. I’ve had such an amazing four years on the show and I felt like maybe it was time. It was a big risk, but I’m really excited about it.

Isn’t a six- or seven-year contract standard practice when you join a show?
VANCAMP: It is. I think [ABC] decided that they wanted to renegotiate with me and, I think, different cast members. All I know is what was happening with me. They [wanted to] renegotiate for the next couple of years and the idea of doing two more years was slightly daunting —not because I haven’t appreciated every single moment on that show. I’ve had such a brilliant time, and I had the opportunity to work with some of the best — I’m so grateful for that. But with family dramas, it’s hard to keep those stories alive. I just felt like it was time to move on.

There’s speculation that you were a casualty of widespread budget cuts at the show. Not true?
VANCAMP: I’d like to think that it was a mutual agreement. I don’t really make decisions based on [money]. For me, it was really a creative thing….I did a lot of soul-searching. It’s a big risk for me to take. [B&S showrunner David Marshall Grant responds: "We love Emily. Everyone here loves Emily. She wanted to try other things and I don't think anyone here wanted to stand in the way of her dreams."]

Are you concerned what your fellow cast members might think of your decision? Like, “Who does she think she is, leaving the show?”
VANCAMP: No. I think everyone sort of knew what was happening with my character and the relationship between Justin and Rebecca. There was a lot of fighting [between them]. It wasn’t moving forward in a way that was productive or exciting. I think this will give Dave Annable [Justin] an opportunity to do some different things, which will be exciting for him. I don’t think that anyone will disagree with what I’m doing. I think mostly they’ll be happy for me. It really is not an ego thing whatsoever….With such a huge cast, all I’m doing is opening up more time for them. [Laughs] Anyone who knows me knows that my ego really does not drive me. It’s about being happy and creatively fulfilled. I’ve been doing television for a long time. And it doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m going to go off and do movies. I’d love to do some theater. I’ve thought about going back to school. There are so many things that are going through my brain. I’m 24 now, and I want to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone.

How many episodes are you going back for?
VANCAMP: I’m definitely going back for two or three episodes at the beginning of the season. I’m really excited about the story. I spoke to our showrunner, David Marshall Grant, and he’s come up with some great story lines for the next season. I’m very excited about what’s happening for Rebecca.

I’m guessing the yearlong separation between Justin and Rebecca caused even further distance.
VANCAMP: I think so. I also think that when families go through traumatic situations — like a massive car crash — there are a lot of emotional issues to deal with. No one really knows what happened to Holly [Patricia Wettig] yet. Everyone knows what happened to Robert [Rob Lowe]. I think there are going to be a lot of emotional implications as a result of that event.

What’s next for you professionally?
VANCAMP: I’m working on a Hallmark movie right now called Let Them Shine. I’m playing a teacher, which I always wanted to do. When my character was young and out of college, there weren’t a lot of job opportunities for her in the middle of the school year, so she ended up teaching homeless children and she essentially changed their lives. And then after this I’m going to do Brothers & Sisters, and then who knows? We’ll have to wait and see. It’s a really exciting time for me right now.

Among the upsides of Brothers & Sisters‘ one-year flash-forward: We get to bypass “Grieving Widow Kitty” and cut straight to “Back In The Game Kitty!”

To wit, Army Wives thesp Jeremy Davidson is joining the ABC drama for a multi-episode arc as Kitty’s (Calista Flockhart) first significant love interest since the death of husband Robert (Rob Lowe).

The two will meet in Ojai, which is where Kitty has been holed up during her year of transition.

“He’s very different than Robert,” explains exec producer David Marshall Grant of Davidson’s character, “and a very different guy than the kind of men Kitty’s been with her whole life.”

Davidson—who in real life is married to Mary Stuart Masterson—is slated to debut in late October/early November. B&S kicks off its fifth season on Sept. 26.
