I really like most of the new housemates actually! My favourites are Laura, Carole and Tracey so far...they seem to be up for a good laugh, i think Carole could possibly become the BB8 legend! :thumbsup:

The twins are ok, but i think they could start annoying the other housemates after a while if they carry on constantly screaming...I think i am starting to like the twins though (Am i the only one?!) I think they could become quite entertaining! :D

Not too keen on Charley at all! Emily seems to be a bit stuck up, but she comes from Bristol near me so i'll carry on supporting her!

The other housemates are all good, haven't really developed a proper opinion on all of them yet though.

I like how they put more genuine fun loving housemates in there this year. There seems to be a lot more intelligence in there this year as well.

From watching the live launch last night. I am liking Carole, Lesley. Laura, Emily and Tracey. The twins are ok but I think I would probably end up throttling them for their screaming before the weekend arrives. As for the others boring.

I can't stick Charley. Not only was she claiming that Lesley urinated in the shower, but she seemed as if she was mocking Lesley's idea to design a clothing range for the elderly.

At least the twins dressed slightly differently for some of the time, but I still can't tell the difference. I don't mind them, and thought they did quite well in the task.

I felt quite sorry for Carole as she seemed to be forced into doing everything, and thought that she handled the Lesley situation as well as she could have done, despite what was said about it in the diary room. I am wondering what her problem is with wearing trousers early in the morning, though.

what i love about Lesley is that its like she's the headmistress on a school trip that she can't believe she's agreed to chaperone! its the way she stands there watching everyone, poor woman.

what do we think of Ziggy then? i think he was the perfect choice for a man to fling into to the house. he's good looking enough, but not like super sexy. and he seems to be quite tongue in cheek about the whole thing. although i feel sorry for him being forced to nominate.

I quite like Ziggy so far actually. On the live feed last night, he was putting in a lot of effort to get to know everyone in the house and i thought that was really nice. It'll be interesting to see how he handles the female attention over the next few days...

I don't know about him and channelle as he seamed to talking more to Emily from what I saw of the live feed, but Davina did mention him and channelle getting it togeter. I'm not bothered if they do or not just as long as Charley is out first. She is so up her own backside.

Anyone watch last night's highlights? I really hope Lesley doesn't leave! I really like her as a housemate and she's really entertaining to watch.

I really don't like Charley looking back at the highlights show either! Her constant "crying" really gets on my nerves and i believe they're just fake tears to get attention, i don't know why the other housemates give her the time of day to be honest and the way she boasts all the time about her "lifestyle" I really hope she has to get a job, so she actually knows what everyday life feels like.. :rolleyes:

Shabnam has been annoying a number of the housemates by her lack of help around the house.

This morning Tracey noticed how Shabnam hasn't been helping with chores like the other contestants and commented: "Shabnam needs to find a job". Nicky, who has been noticing the same thing, suggested: "Someone said to her about doing the mirrors and she said 'yeah I will'."

But so far it looks like Shabnam's not done anything today apart from sleep and complain that she's missing home.

Chanelle and Carole have also spent the afternoon speculating whether a dirty bowl full of cereal that was left on the side for hours was in fact Shabnam's.

She hasn't admitted to it but Carole thinks she would be the prime suspect because of her lazy ways. She said: "It’s Shab's I know it is. I think Charley picked it up and brought it in here. I said 'is that your breakfast there' and she said 'no'." Chanelle seemed unimpressed and commented: "What's the point after the meeting we just had?"

I'm actually supporting Lesley to win, she has easily become my favourite as she really makes me laugh and she has some brilliant one liners, she's certainly made part of the series for me so far!

I think they may slowly replace a girl with a guy each week once a housemate is evicted until the male and females are even, then they may do a few double evictions so it doesn't go on forever and lasts for the time length they said it would, it is scheduled to end on the 31st August.

I would have seen the point if it was eviction night and they were nominated, but come on get a life. I agree, she wasn't offended at all by what was said, she even said herself she was one. It was only when she thought that it would be good for her that she acted like she was offended and wouldn't let it drop. I think it was Charley that got Emily removed because she was making a big deal of it.

Was I the only one who felt sorry for Emily last night? I know what she said could offend viewers, but i really felt for her as it was a simple slip of the tongue that caused her place in Big Brother to be no more, she looked devastated and obviously didn't mean it in such a malicious way! :(

I agree totally, i don't even think it was a slip of tongue! There are two meanings of that word, one being very nasty and the other being slang as in mate/friend. As Emily chose to be friends with Charley Nicky and Shabs I'm sure she meant it in the nice way. also the context she said it in was more like in a rap situation where the word is used frequently.

I think Big Brother used Emily as a scape goat trying to distance themselves from any form of racism after the celebrity big brother.

If you look back to big brother 7, the word Wigger was used to describe Ashlean, no one was even given a warning for that.

Emily was totally upset and gutted by the situation, surely that was enough!! She obviously wouldn't have said it again!!

I don't understand why it's used as a slang word to be honest - i'll always see it as being very offensive, but the reason i felt sorry for Emily was because, i agree with you, she was made an example of. She didn't mean it in a malicious way, she meant it in a jokey way which obviously shows her immaturity and naiviety.

It's just that a slip of the tongue caused her to be booted out - it is such a shame, and i bet Emily is feeling very regretful about it and that's why i feel sorry for her as she didn't mean it in a malicious way, she didn't mean to offend.

I just wish they would stop arguing about food all the time. They've failed their tasks and have to live of a basic budget with no luxuries. Oh poor little lambs. Then they have the nerve to complain that they are starving. Er no you not starving, people in Africa are starving you lot are just mearly hungry. They should count themselves lucky thousands of people all over the world not just in the UK have to live of less than they get for a food budget and they can't pretend to be a sardine to improve their lives.

Well i had an idea that they change the times in the house to confuse the housemates. With the use of lighting, they could make out that it's night time in the house, when it's actually daytime and vice versa.

It was great watching them have some fun last night! I liked the pork pie stuff with Nicky especially. :D It made a change as she is usually moaning about food!

Still don't like Charley and I glad Gerry stood up to her and said what he thought about her. I actually can't understand what Charley is saying half the time as she speaks too fast and i'm tired of her going "I'm not being funny, yeah..." it begins to grate on me after a while!

I am gutted that Seany got evicted, he didn't deserve to go in my opinion - he was the joker of the house and provided a lot more entertainment than Carole. Carole is a nice woman, but i think she should have gone as she provides the less entertainment in the house. Seany looked absolutely devastated in his interview with Davina - i don't think he seen his eviction coming at all! :(

I'm really growing to like Jonathan - I laughed at his line in yesterday's highlights show. He said to Charley "I'd pay you £100,000 to make you go from this house" :rotfl: and when Ziggy was on about breaking up with Chanelle he said, "Yeah she'll have to go back to school soon" :D He is so funny!

Chiggy relationship is starting to bore me now - don't really care about them splitting up and getting back together again...i'm more intrigued over Nicky and Liam, i think they would both make a good couple and i think romance could be on the cards for both of them. :D

One more thing to add - Gerry was so funny the other night. He took Seany's prank on his teddybear so seriously that I laughed! "Now my teddybear smells of condom lube" :rotfl:

I usually watch it, but i'm not really loving this series like last year. Charley is doing my head in, it was great when Liam stood up to her tonight.

I don't like the way Brian is trying to act dumb - it's like he is trying too hard to be entertaining. The twins and Liam are my favourites in there at the moment.

I have a feeling Laura will go on Friday, but i don't mind who goes to be honest, i'm not too keen on either Laura or Chanelle..

I love big brother, I think this has been the best one so far, but I can't stand Charley :wall: and I love Ziggy :wub: and Chanelle is also great. The twins are also really funny and the things they come out are so random. I dont like brian though how he plays dumb and stupid.

An actress is set to arrive in the Big Brother House
on Sunday afternoon to kick-start Big Brother's latest
ruse: 'Fake Week'.

The little known thesp' will be introduced to viewers
during tonight's second live show, when the housemates
will be told that a contestant from a parallel series
of Big Brother will be arriving in the UK House on
Sunday from afar.

Also, they will be led to believe that inevitable
evictee Laura has been sent to that other country in a
kind-of swap manoeuvre, like Cameron Stout was during
Big Brother 4. In fact, she'll be on her way back to
the hills.

Furthermore, the group will be shown the fake foreign
contestant on the plasma screen, and led to believe
that she is still miles away and about to jet over
here. Of course, she will actually be just metres away
in Elstree studios!

The actress, effectively the first proper Big Brother
mole, will have to convince the group that she's real,
but if they suss her out they will have passed their
shopping budget task for the coming week.

It remains to be seen whether the all-scheming entity
will engineer situations which make it difficult for
her to keep up the act, thereby giving her twelve
peers at least a chance of rumbling the fake newbie.

We've been saying for ages that Big Bro should put a
proper actor in the House, as we loved the way that
the guy in Channel 4's Space Cadets kept making asides
to the cameras and viewers.

Indeed, the Big Brother actress will go one step
further, as she'll actually sneak-out of the House for
regular chats with Dermot on BBLB!

I think this sounds like a really good twist, and I thought Thaila, was great in the band all stars and I loved the show starstreet when it was on lol and i think it will be good when they find out who she actually is, except when ziggy was in northern line, all stars and northern line both supported east17 so i wonder if ziggy will recognise her.
And Brian even said he watched the aussie one before he came in and he didnt realise she wasnt on it.
I'm glad Laura went this week and not chanelle and I think Ziggy's face was a glad face that she hadnt gone

An easy explanation for Brian saying he watch Aussie BB was she entered the house later on in the series, that's if the show hadn't ended when he stopped watching it :p

I saw the repeat. I am really hoping that Charley is the one that is subjected to the eviction twist, because I think she would be the one to say the most against the other housemates, and then have to go back in. I think it will be her, Carole or Nikki.

The undercover housemate sounds great. I don't think she will be recognised - I watched Balls of Steel which she was in as the bunny boiler, and I didn't realise it was her whilst she was talking to the house. It didn't look like her with all the make-up on, and she does the accent really well.

Yeah, it is that the housemates will hear what the evicted one said. After Chanelle's performance in the diary room tonight, that seems as if it would be really good. Not only would there be more of a problem between Chanelle and Ziggy, but Chanelle and Charley would be great, especially as they both appear to like screaming these days, lol! I'm sure some of that diary room bit would be in her best bits, if it's her. I can't believe she went in with her dovay and everything.

I noticed from her voice, so as long as she keeps up the accent, I think she should be ok. I don't think she will though - all part of the twist.

The clip won't work for me - it says that there is no media in the playlist after it displays the sponsor.

Its the way you first said it, but in their interview they normally show them clips of what the other housemates think of them, usually nice stuff but I have a feeling they are going to show evil stuff this time lol :p

To be honest i dont think fake evicting charley would do much cos she seems to have an argument and then carries on as normal, then an agrument and so on and the housemates dont even ssay much about her now, just that shes a pain to live with whereas Nicky would learn all sorts what they have been saying and the other housemates would watch her interview where she learns about what they think of her, making when she goes back very awkward

these past few days I've seen a bit of a nicer side to Charley, as Ziggy says if she couild get past the arguments she's quite nice. When she was comforting Brian, and she can funny and up for a laugh.

If in the interview Davina made her realise what shes been doing wrong, then Charley might be able to mend her ways and turn things around.

Charley told Nicky this afternoon that she was shocked to receive the most nominations this week.

Chatting in the caravan, she commented: "I get on with the twins, I get on with Liam, I get on with Carole, I get on with Brian." She went on to conclude that the only people in the house she didn't see eye-to-eye with were Gerry and Chanelle.

The 22-year-old unemployed Londoner claimed she didn't "believe for a second" that she could have got the most nominations. She conjectured: "Tracey would not have got on with more people than me."

A puzzled Charley concluded: "I personally believe that it don't make sense to me. At all!"

Nicky disagreed with Charley's assumptions, admitting that the pair probably did receive the most votes.

Charley appeared to confuse herself on the nomination process, responding: "I'm not surprised I'm up but if I got a lot of thingys [nominations] that will surprise me."

If I was in that house I would have slapped Channell days ago for her moaning she never stops. I hate it when housemates go into the diary room and say oohhhh I wanna leave no-one likes me, then change their minds later on. Its so obvious that they are doing it for attention. If a housemate goes crying to BB that they want out then BB should make a stand and say fine and open the door for them, they would soon stop their complaining. As for Ziggy he should be out next week he's doing my head in as well he's only with Channell for the votes he's gonna drop her like a ton of bricks when they leave the house.

Things would have so different if Emily hadn't been removed early on in the series. I think Ziggy would have went for her instead of Channelle. Because he was the first guy in there for days he must have thought he had the pick of the girls. So he probaby planned to work his way round the twins and charley as well. There is no way he would have went for Channelle if there had been other guys in the house from the launch night. He is just playing up to the public to get the votes if he hadn't been with Channelle he would have been out on his ear weeks ago.

I have to start watching this again! I turned one off half way through and fell into the routine of not watching it. I don't think it has been that bad.

I think if they do anymore they should revert back down to 10 weeks as oppose to 13, same as last year the last few weeks got really boring, make it shorter, think of more intresting tasks and twists, and stop with this idea of house next doors and a bunch of new housemates coming in half way through etc.

Well I just really like the twins, cos they havent been horrible and they have been really nice in there and we all know Brain hasnt got the brains but he is very sweet and some of the little things he has said in the diary room makes him come across as such a good person and its the look and smile on his face that makes you know that he realy means it.

Having 6 in the final was ridiculous, they should have had 3 in the final as interviews would be longer and it would be more drawn out.

Well done to Brian for winning - i seriously thought the twins were going to win so that was quite a shock.

The only good thing about having six in the final week was that there was more people and it wasnt as boring as it would of been with less, but yeh the interviews re too short, they should of had more time.
And yay Brain won, awww he is so sweet and im glad he won, I wanted the twins to win too lol, but it was really hard for me to decide.

I was glad Jonty went first tonight, but I was hoping Brian would have gone out in Carole's position. I agree with him in terms of not knowing how he got to the final, let alone winning it. I was really hoping the twins would win after being so nice to everyone and not getting a single nomination in all the time that they were in there.

As far as the bb series goes this one has to be one or the poorest. Yes Brian or the twins were dead sweet and nice, but they were as entertaining as a wart. Housemates that last to the end do because they are entertaining and sometimes argumentative. I would have prefered Charley or Lesley to win tonight instead of Brian.

if the winner is meant to be represent what it is best about British society then god help us. He was just thick, pure and simple, he was uncultured and just an idiot - we shouldn't be awarding that. I mean come on okay some of us aren't as clver as others, but if you dont know basic elements of your national heritage - i.e Shakespeare then you dont deserve to be a citizen of the country, nor winning something so highly publicied as Big Brother.

Out of all those on finale night Carole was the only one who deserved to win, with Ziggy as a close second.

I for one am glad to see the back of BB this year. Not that I watched much of the series but it was too long this year and there wasn't enough enteraining housemates. If Lesley had stayed then I would have voted for her as she could be fun and not afraid to speak her mind. As for the twins, Brian, channelle and a few others they were just thick as mince.

Exactly cos when it comes down it, its the like ability of the person and that doesnt mean they have to be very clever

I not suggesting that the winner has to be brain of britain,look at Helen from BB2 she wasn't excatly super intelligent but when you consider some of the winner's or contestants from early bb's they were interesting and entertaing to watch. They didn't spend 11 or more weeks going around screaming and squeeling and they had more than five word vocabulary.

Chanelle Hayes is reportedly pregnant with the child of Ziggy Lichman.

According to the Daily Star, Hayes ordered staff at a hotel in Dubai to fetch her a pregnancy kit, which was delivered to her suite on a silver tray.

Hayes had previously been warned by doctors that she may not be able to have children due to unforeseen difficulties with an abortion she had after her 18th birthday.

Talking about the operation, she commented: "Basically the doctors told me I have what they call a ‘retained product’.

"It means the abortion wasn’t done properly and they left a bit of it in me, which has caused me a lot of pain.

"I am in a terrible lot of pain most of the time. The sad thing is that doctors told me I might never be able to have children, which was completely devastating."

Big Brother housemates from the last eight years are to reunite for what is being billed as the biggest Big Brother party ever.

The "Big Brother All-Years Wrap Party" - produced in association with Digital Spy - aims to bring together more than one hundred ex-housemates for the November 22 bash.

"This is going to be the biggest Big Brother party ever," said organiser Mark Garrett. "It started life as a private party for Eugene (BB6) Sully but as more housemates were invited, we thought 'why not invite everyone?'"

The party will include a charity auction organised by BB8's Carole, as well as an awards ceremony voted for by Digital Spy readers.

Lol true that.. Well.. There's a girl at my sis's school in Year 6 and Carole is her grandmother!.. And she must have got asked to come to the school for the Christmas fate.. and so I got her autograph & message with her picture on it from when she came out of the house and all..
Then took a few pictures with her..
She's lost some weight, she looks much 'nicer' in flesh lol..
