View Full Version : Pirates Of The Caribbean - Worlds End
Out yesterday, i went to see it and i loved it!
Yeh okay its rather long, i didn't notice to be honest, and more action is in it than the other 2, but i loved it all the same!
Only problem, i wish that Keith Richards was in it a bit longer, so maybe we got a bit more of Jack's past.
Oooh and if you go to see it, watch the credits as there is a little bit after that, i missed it, but hopefully going again on monday :p
Discuss ...
booked my tickets for tomorrow i cant wait to see it

I saw it today, and I think it was really really good and I havent even seen the 1st two lol, so I think im gonna watch them aswell now, but I didnt like the ending as I wanted Will and Elizabeth to stay together I put it in spoiler tags as people might not want to know the ending lol
and I didnt think it seemed like 2 hours and 48 mins or whatever it was either, it went really quick except they dont seem to believe in air con it was boiling
but I didnt like the ending as I wanted Will and Elizabeth to stay together
Ooh i didn't mind that, just because, at the end of the day nothing can ever go as planned, and its the way the storyline worked out.

Guys.. I might go and see this with a friend.. I'm not really into POTC but the trailer did interest me quite a bit.. Even though I didn't see the first 2 POTC's do you think I will understand watching the 3rd one? Or is them films where you have to watch each film to understand what the other one is about? Thanks x

I have never seen the first 2 either, and I understood all of it allright and now ive seen the third I want to watch the first 2 lol
i went to see this today, and have seen the other two recently
all i can say about these films:
unecessarily long and vastly overated
I failed to see why the nation has gone so crazy over them? :searchme: They're an ok film but nothing mind blowingly spectular
went to see this today i agree with bry it was too long they could have easliy made it into a 2 hour film instead of the 3.
The ending was great loved every minute of the last hour.
Did anyone stay til after the credits to see the extra bit?? We waitied about 5 mins and the credits were still going on so left!
I know some of you think it went on for too long but I loved it, to me it didnt even feel like nearly 3 hours, I thought it was great how so much was going on cos it kinda felt like it was the middle of the sory rather than like the other films were it had a clear begining if that makes any sense. Some people have said it wasnt as funny as the others but its still made me laugh and I was so shocked and some point and loved the ending, typical Jack lol.

But then some people may say that about Big Bro Bry :D (pokes tongue out)
P.S. Told ya I'd post it

Loved It!
But Proabley Only Because Johnny Depp Was In It:p
It Was Fab! Had More Comedy In It Then The Second One Did.
Wasn't To Fussed About The Length!
All You Could Hear From Me When We Came Out The Cinema Was - But They Shot Jack The Monkey Out The Cannon! HaHa But Hey It Was A Really Good Film:cheer:

I saw this today, i enjoyed it, thought it was a little too long at times, but at other times during it, it was fine and i didn't notice!
Enjoyed the story, well most of it when i was able to follow it.
The end of credit, so cheesy!! lol

I went to see it recently i give it 8/10 there was not enough of Jack Sparrow and also his dad. I didn't like the end with Elizabeth and Will. I liked Elizabeth in the first POTC and by the third i hate her character. I'd advise people to stay in the cinema till after the credits. I hope there is a fourth with Jack, Will, Barbossa all back i could do without Elizabeth

i went to see it on monday and even though i havent seen 1 or 2 (i tried to watch 1 the night before but didnt understand so i turnd it off) but i fel alsepp during it. 3 loooooooooooong hours of basically the same stuff as the other 2 so ive been told. best sleep ive had in a cinema for a long time! hehe
I loved it!! I didn't think it was that long really- my cinema put an Intersession in it, so when it got to 2 hours, we had a 15 min break then watched the last hour or so :rotfl:
The plot was a bit confusing at times, but the ending was great, and the acting was fab all the way through.
Although i did want to slap Kiera Knightly the whole way through- i cant stand her!! She needs a slap and a cream cake :p

I have seen the 1st one but not the 2nd. May try and catch this one over the summer holidays. I don't mind films being 3 hours long as long as it holds your concentration like LOTR or the Green mile, which didn't feel long films to me.
Bryan I would be careful on what you say there is many Johnny Depp fans on here who may like a quiet word in your delicate ears :rotfl:

We could choose wether to have the showing with an intermission or not, and we went for the one with out, having already sat through nearly 3 hours Spiderman in the same day, we decided to go hardcore and sit through another 3 hour film! lol Intermission's are for wimps and those with weak bladders! lol oh and those with long leg's who need to stretch!

Aww Emz, you do have an excuse at the moment, i suggest you go for directors chair screening, i don't think i'd want to sit in the normal chair's for 3 hours if i was pregnant :nono:
