Ask me on Monday Evening. I am doing a course on Dreamweaver in relation to Web Design. Its a one to one course so I should learn loads. If I enjoy it I will be doing the Advanced Courses shortly. £ 275 each course but my former employer is paying so Happy Days. (**PLEASE NOTE ANY HELP GIVEN MUST NOT BE USED FOR ANYTHING CONNECTED WITH SAM NIXON, PHIL HUNTER or HUXON**)
Here is a useful link in the meantime

Was only kidding about your two heroes by the way. I was recomended Dreamweaver and Fireworks as they are industry standard and qualifications are well recognised.

I've used Dreamweaver a lot recently (I hate Flash, so i can't help you there, lol!)

What kind of problem do you have with Dreamweaver?

Really, its all based around tables. Make maybe a 3 x 5 table, and start sltting your objects in. You can merge cells by highlighting both of them, and selecting the Merge icon at the bottom (Its in the properties bit, i think).

When you get used to that, you can do a seperate table inside a cell, to split it up further. And even a table in one of those cells as well (My ICT coursework had 1 cell with 6 different tables in!)

Thats kind of vague, but its a bit hard to figure out what you need to know, lol

Its probably because you've been taught to do it in DIV layers. Which are harder to get the hang of.

Open a new thing, Make sure you're in design view, and add a table in. Theres no reason why it shouldn't work.

And to get into design view, look at the toolbars at the top. At the bottom of them, there should be "Design", "Split" and "Code". Clicky on design.
