My local radio station is running a competition and basically I need help with it!

The clues so far are:
It's a man
Started his showbiz life in the late 60’s/ very early 70’s
He’s good friends with Alan Rickman
He’s apparently a fantastic musician
His daughter is a model for a well known hand bag range
He’s well known for his lumbering appearance

Anyone got any ideas? Any help appreciated :D

Have you tried Justin Hayward from the Moody Blues, Steve Harley or members from the group "YES" Rick Wakeman and Jon Anderson. They were all around in the late 60's early 70's.

Don't know if this is of any use to you Rob, but I looked up the word "Lumbering" and it means: awkward, bumbling and clumsy. What about Hugh Laurie

I did a bit of research on the net and I thought the answer was Ozzy Osbourne so I rang up today but couldn't get through but then someone else got through and guessed Ozzy and it was right so I was really annoyed!

The prize was just a 'breakfast goodie bag' but I wanted to win so I could get on the radio and do a shout out to everyone I know :D
