I know for a fact i can plug my video camera into my laptop using something called s-video in but i cant work out how i can get the stuff ive filmed off the camera onto my computer for editing other than doing it like this - from the camera to our dvd recorder then from there to disk then from that disk onto my laptop then do the editing then put the edited version back on disk - which to me is a ridiculous way of doing it as 1 it waste time and also wastes a disk so if any one knows anything about this then help would be appreciated
