'Let's Be Friends'

Wily Paul cancels Ned’s debt to gain yet more control over his naive lackey. Full of self-loathing, Ned insists he wants nothing more to do with Paul. Not to be put off, Paul tempts Ned with gifts and encourages ‘flashy’ Ned to invite some party girls around for an afternoon’s entertainment. Paul hints he wants Ned to do another job for him but Ned refuses. But when Paul is beaten up by an unknown assailant and robbed of the Lassiter’s takings, it is later revealed that Ned is the culprit – a scam to take the heat off himself and his dealings with the Timminses. Despite his best efforts to resist Paul, poor Ned falls deeper into Paul’s wicked world and flourishes in the profits of his criminal behaviour.
Having continually given Ringo the brush off, Rachel is flabbergasted to discover Ringo is her poetic secret admirer. Embarrassed and irritated, Rachel allows her pride get in the way of true love and she tells a crushed Ringo she wants nothing more to do with him.
When Ringo sees Rosie and Pepper kissing, news of their dalliance spreads fast through the neighbourhood. Both girls decide the kiss was merely an extension of the immense regard they feel for each other and agree to keep it secret – unaware the gossip has spread like wildfire…
Hurt that Rosie has seemingly moved on, Frazer panics about his masculinity and endeavours to prove his manhood.

Determined to salvage his marriage, Boyd lavishes attention on Janae while distancing himself from Glenn, but when Glenn turns up at a lecture Boyd’s attending, he deludes himself into thinking he can bury his feelings for her. Hounded by his guilt, Boyd explodes and cruelly tells Glenn she meant nothing to him. Spurned, Glenn confronts Janae with the truth about her relationship with Boyd - the pair of them enjoyed a two-week fling! Shaken, Janae confronts Boyd, offering him a chance to come clean about his infidelity. To her horror, Boyd clings to his deceit…
Steph realises that Toadie’s new relationship with Abby is more significant than she’d thought and is dismayed. Steph sees Abby on the arm of another man and confronts her, furious on Toadie’s behalf, but Abby calls Steph on her jealousy. After Carmella counsels her to tell Toadie what she witnessed, Steph gives him the bad news: Abby is cheating on him. But Toadie refuses to give Steph’s allegations any weigh - to his mind, she’s given up any rights to him and should butt out!
Feeling isolated, Paul’s eager to keep Ned as his apprentice even though Ned’s no longer beholden to him. Ignorant of Ned’s involvement, Elle takes Paul to task after the staged “mugging” but their conversation is halted when they catch Glenn eavesdropping: how much has she heard??
Under the belief that he somehow turned Rosie off, stricken Frazer tries to reclaim his sense of masculinity… by stripping off with Oliver and fixing up the ScarletBar.

Janae’s gutted but clings to hope, especially knowing that Glenn intends to return home. But Elle urges Glenn to stay in Erinsborough and fight for the man she loves. The issue is finally brought to a head when Glenn presses Boyd for the truth. Boyd is forced to come clean and admits to Janae he still has feelings for Glenn. Does this spell the end of their marriage?
Readying himself for his first international flight, Lou realises Harold has enough on his plate and tries to use this as an excuse to back out but Lolly makes him see sense. Lou comes up with the perfect solution, announcing Sandy will come to look after Lolly. Ringo is sole witness to Lolly’s horror and forces her to come clean. Shocked by the tale of her Stepmother’s abuse, Ringo urges her to tell Lou. But Lolly is determined to deal with the problem her way…
Karl and Susan prepare to jet off to London, unaware that Bonzair’s dodgy booking system has left them both without seats on the plane. Susan takes her anger out on both Karl and Lou, who’s developed an anxiety twitch. After a major dressing down in the airport restroom, they return home with Karl in the doghouse. Eventually he makes up for his stuff up by shaving off his beard.
Bree penetrates Rachel’s façade by accurately claiming she’s got the hots for Ringo. As much as Rachel tries to protest, Bree know’s she’s right on the money.

Lolly’s step-mother Sandy arrives to stay at the Bishop house, much to Lolly’s dismay. Spurred on by Ringo, Lolly realises that she must end the cycle of abuse, but takes things too far when she sabotages what she thinks is Sandy’s car – only to seemingly fail in her plan. A final confrontation with Sandy at the Bishop pool sees terrified Lolly push her into the water. Sandy hits her head and floats, face down, with Lolly looking on...
Tormented as Rosie and Pepper seemingly flaunt their “relationship”, Frazer feels the need to empower himself - but a stupid argument with a football fan sees him cop a black eye. Rosie tends to his wounds and old sparks rekindle but Pepper interrupts them. Frazer tells Pepper that he knows about their relationship but Pepper sets him straight. But relaying the story to Rosie, Pepper’s shocked when Rosie admits she’s still mighty confused…
Poring over their dwindling finances, Susan surprises Karl with the cost of his lifestyle changes. Although Susan’s set on applying for the Principal position at school, Karl decides it’s up to him to bring in some extra money and asks Rosie to take him on as the Law Office’s part time secretary.
A mysterious parcel addressed to Pepper is left on the doorstep – who’s her secret admirer?
'Lolly Good Show'

As Sandy lies drowning, painful memories prevent Lolly from rescuing the stepmother who’s bullied her for so long. Ringo and Rachel come to the rescue and haul Sandy out of the pool. Lolly overcomes her fears and administers the kiss of life but Lou’s horrified to hear it was Lolly who pushed Sandy in the pool. However, when the truth emerges about Sandy’s monstrous behaviour, Lou confronts Sandy who bitterly reveals her reasons: Lolly is a constant reminder of the affair her husband had with Lolly’s mother, Cheryl. Horrified and consumed with guilt, Lou banishes Sandy from his house forever.
Janae struggles to keep it together when Glenn arrives at the garage to collect her car and announces that the gloves are off in the fight for Boyd’s heart. Janae suspects Elle’s hatred of the Timminses is leading her to manipulate the love triangle and maintains Boyd will never leave her for Glenn. But when it turns out Glenn’s car was tampered with causing a near fatal accident, Boyd wonders if his wife is capable of murder.
Ringo’s inability to swim prevents him from being able to help save Sandy’s life. Filled with shame about his secret, Ringo’s too upset to respond when the girl of his dreams, Rachel, finally tries to kiss him.
