So how many of you will be watching this year? how many will go just watch the scores or will you just switch is off??
i'll switch of then find out who won on the internet. There's bound to be something better to do.

Yeah i should be watching it, best laugh of the night if you ask me.
NO WAY will I be watching it, look at our song so camp and so rubbish, It is the same every year. The french and Italians wont vote for us and we will vote for the Germans, so as to show we dont hold a grudge. Its not about the songs and hasnt been for years. I would rather watch paint dry.:rotfl:

I'll probably get bored during the songs but flick back for the scores, just to see how bad we've done this year.

I usually like to watch it. But I might be going out, so I'm not too bothered if I do miss it.

i dont usually watch it as i get fed up of nobody voting for us and all the voting being political! i sometimes flick and keep a bit of an eye on the scores.

I'll have it on but it's pointless no-one is going to vote for us. All the Baltic countries will vote for each other no matter how awful the songs are. And France, Germany and the Scandivain countires will all stick together. We have no chance.
It's one of those "really shouldn't but really can't help it" shows for me. Cheesy, rubbish and the same every year with the winners but I like it.
As for our song... well it really cis camp but maybe we'll end up with a bit more than nil point this year.
I will watch it, sometimes im not sure why i do but then again I am mentally unstable and I like to see how crazy some of the other people are.

I watch eurovision because there's nothing else on really, and it's a nice way to spend an evening, watching the crazy people perform :D (even though we never win! and schooch are slightly annoying:p )
I have to say seeing that picture made me laugh so much :rotfl: I need to watch this :rotfl:

I showed that picture to my friend...she asked if it was Elton John :rotfl:
I might try and catch the results bit. They normally do a clip from each of them then, so i wont have to watch all 40-odd of them. The results are pretty funny, in a strange way. Kind of.
I'mm def going to be watching the scores bit cause Terry Wogan cracks me up with his commentary and he always know's who's voting for who :rotfl:
I watched a bit of the eurovision thing on tv last night and some countries have not bad songs this year.

Reminds me of the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz.
We all know we're not going to win. The Baltics all vote for each other. France and Germany vote for each other, as do Sweden, Finland and Norway. But it's still fun to watch people make fools of themselves

Was that our entry last year? I don't think I ever heard that one. All the critics slated it so I heard. But then they always do.

Maybe, or the year before. But they were soo badly out of tune...We did get "nil points" so I think that's why they're not around anymore.. :rotfl:
I saw a vid of Gemini's performance on tv earlier today. There's no suprise that we got nil points. Hopefully, we will do a bit better this year but I won't hold my breath.

UK....nil points. what a suprise :hmm: Eurovision is all about political voting nowadays. Scooch were so good! But no-ones voting for them!
I don't know why we bother entering each year. Everybody ends up voting for their neighbours and we got no points because we don't have any bordering neighbours.

France didnt vote for us :nono: tutut...they are our nearest country... apart from Ireland..they normally vote for us
"UK is the only country without points" oooh dear :o

Ireland voted for us :D and......Malta?! yay:clap:
Woah, what happened there? 12 points from Malta?? At least we can now say that we didn't come last.

we were lucky to get the 19 points. It was a good cheesy catchy song, but there was no way anyone was going to vote for us.

Even if it was the most brilliant song ever written we wouldn't win! At least we got 19 points...go scooch  Lol
Its all down to politics.....IMO its nothing to do with the songs themselves whatsoever any more. Its all about which countries are voting for who.

I agree with that, there were ones that i thought should have won for the song but they didn't and my dad was sat there predicting who would vote who and most of his predictions were right.
hated the winning song! I really liked sweden song and also russia, i cant belive sweden didnt get more points, it was the best one! Glad we didnt get a big fat zero. The voting stinks and is really putting me off watching it

Sir Wogan himself said that every thing was focused on the eastern part of Europe.. oddly enuff I was voting for Romania,, I thought they were pretty good. Oh well as every one said the whole show was pretty RUBBISH,,,:p
I thought the Irish thing was really bad.. or was it just me ??

The Irish were quite bad..bit out of tune  I thought, out of Serbia and Ukraine the Ukraine should've won, just for entertainment value they were so funny
Scooch should've been up with the top countries.....they should introduce some rule that prevents block voting....if that's possible
It just spoils the show really, Serbia wasn't even that good!
I was really shocked that we got 12 points from Malta
I really enjoyed Eurovision but then again the Mrs and I were on a third bottle of Shiraz

I didnt watch it as I was out, then again I wouldnt have watched if I was in!
I did hear that we did pretty badly.....shame as I thought our song was pure cheddar and thus we stood a better chance than previously. But eurovision is very political...and no one ever votes for us! :crying:

I have to agree with Wogan and say we should set up a "western block." The Balkans have their block and so do Eastern Europe. Maybe if all the Western countries club together one of us might stand a chance of winning.
Still, nearly 11m viewers tuned in.

Now is that from the Uk or the whole of europe?
