Take That Take Legal Action Over Stage Musical

Pop group TAKE THAT are taking legal action over plans to turn their greatest hits into a stage musical called NEVER FORGET. The band reformed last year (06) after a ten year split, but singer Gary Barlow handed over the rights to several of their hit songs to someone he "trusted" long before they considered getting back together. Now Barlow is taking legal action over the "disaster" and has ordered lawyers to double their efforts to prevent the production from going ahead. He says, "I'm furious and I'll do everything legally possible to stop the show, which has the smell of the end of a pier about it. "I thought it was going to be a collaboration and it would be with classy people but this individual formed a company with other people to produce the musical and then he left the project."
