Holby City favourite Diane Lloyd will discover that there's one life she can't save this summer - her own!
With actress Patricia Potter opting to leave the medical drama, scriptwriters have come up with a tragic exit for her character. And there'll be plenty of tears as Diane's story reaches it traumatic conclusion.
"It'll be a terrible blow for all of Diane's colleagues at Holby - not least Ric Griffin, who's set to break her heart by marrying someone else," whispers our insider."
AND HERE'S THE WORST BIT!
"But whether Diane's death is an accident won't be clear..."

People think it could either be Thandie or Jac, but im not sure Jac would actually stoop that low, but I think Thandie could as she could see her as competition for Ric

Jac could stoop that low, if she can sleep with a man old enough to be her dad to further her career a simple shove down the stairs will be a piece of cake for her

I thought it would be Thandie. She knows Diane and Ric had something and she might feel threatened that Diane will take him away from her.
Jac doesn't really have enough motive to push Diane down the stairs - after all, her only grievance is that Diane is better than her.

This weeks mag says that Diane is killed in a car crash! but is there more to the fatal accident than meets the eye.

Ok this is just my idea of the scene,, Jac is on her motorcycle and crosses dianes path and Diane swerves to avoid her and crashes ???
I still think JAC has the motive and the opporunity.. Diane has upstaged her one too many times and Dan would have backed Diane up not "OLIVE OYL " I personally would rather see Jac take a header off the roof of the hospital... I am sick of this sad biatch stopping at nothing to further her career and she does not care who she hurts in the process...Just my 2 euro cents worth....:searchme:

Although I see your point about Jac having motive I still think Thandie has something much greater to lose. Thandie knows Ric and Diane had something before she was on the scene and she's seen the way they are together. Diane also doesn't like the way Thandie works (though who does?) and Thanide doesn't want to be criticised by her fiance's ex.
Totally agree with you about Jac taking a dive off the roof.

I think either one could have the motive and the nerve to do it. But we havn't seen that much of Thandie, so she could turn out to be ok, or a right physco..like Jac..
I wonder if they'll have someone totally unexpected kill her..like Ric? :searchme: Maybe that's going a bit far though :D

Yeah I read that aswell, but im posative I saw a picture of her having fallen down the stairs lol, and i now cant find the pic, im sure it was her aswell lol, but it sounds like it is a crash so I was wrong lol

"She should be more worried about immigration, since she is just over there with Ric, if she breaks up with them, her rear end will be back where ever it was she came from.. so every one should not matter, she should just focus on the job at hand and her relationship with Ric and every one should just blend into the back ground,, ya know outta sight outta mind,,, as an EX-PAT in Europe I know there is a threat that I can be exported any time( not now since I have been here over 5 yrs )
Hmmmmmmmm did any one else consider that Faye could be the cause of Diane's un timely exit ??? She is also working at the hospital under false pretenses and may have blood on her hands ( her hubby is deader than a doo doo )

It could be Faye....she would have motive, and she's already killed once....we think :o
I did suggest Ric....the way Thandie's twisting him round her little finger....but maybe that's a bit far fetched :D

She actually commits suicide by throwing herself under a train...and I have this from a very relaible source.
No one knows if its an accident or she was pushed, but its very dramtaic and it all boils down to the bullying (emotional) she has been enduring from Jac, Ric, Thandie and Dan over the past few months.
It reachs boiling point and she gets so low she decides there is no other option!!!!!
Im a little annoyed to be honest with this as she is a fab character and certainly deserves a better ending than this!!!

I must be blind because I haven't seen Jac etc bullying Diane. Ric and Dan certainly aren't capable of bullying and Jac and Thandie are just bitches who like to bitch about people.
I'd have thought the scriptwriters would have given her a better exit, this one sounds rather pants.

can you post the VERY RELIABLE SOURCE here ??? I find this a bit hard to believe that Diane is gonna commit hari kari under the wheels of a choo choo:D

Even if she didn't die from the accident, I highly doubt Diane would commit suicide lol!! As Jelly said, they've hardley been bullying her, particularly Dan who has been really nice to her. I think Diane is stronger that to succumb to commiting suicide over a few snidy comments too lol.

Ok, first you say she commits suicide under a train but now you're saying it's a car accident (which is what other confirmed reports have said) and they're both by a reliable source, presumably the same one.
I honestly don't believe she would commmit suicide, Diane is better than that. She's always risen above Jac's comments.
