From today's Sun
EASTENDERS psycho Stella Crawford will DIE falling off a roof on her wedding day to Phil Mitchell.
Evil Stella (Sophie Thompson) makes the shock exit after weeks of emotionally abusing Phil’s young son Ben.
And Phil (Steve McFadden) will be fingered for the crime as there is a riddle over whether Stella jumped or was pushed. Show chiefs were keeping tight-lipped as to whether Phil and Stella even get married first.
So far fans of the BBC1 soap have been shocked as the wicked witch of the East End carried out sick stunts including pouring water in Ben’s bed to make him think he wet it.
And Stella also stood back and watched as Ben (Charlie Jones) was beaten up by school bullies.
Sophie, 40, admitted recently: “The mind boggles as to how Phil will react when he finds out.”
EastEnders bosses have worked with the NSPCC charity while filming the traumatic abuse plotline.
Last night a show spokesman said: “We never discuss storylines.”
oooh, sounds good. A fitting exit for a character that has been so evil over the past few months.

So Phil is to be investigated by the super efficient Walford Police:rolleyes: . cue another long drawn out storyline where he bribes the Metropolitan Police, The Cps, Coroners Service and all. Hopefully the storywriters will do a Janine on him

gutted, the wedding is this summer aint it? I hoped Stella was gonna terrorise that little brat for months to come yet. damn. Stella is one of the few good things about Eastenders these days.

This looks good, but i was hoping Stella wouldn't leave so soon. I know what she is doing to Ben is awful, but she is one of the best characters in the show at the moment, and i think this abuse storyline could develop and go on for a while longer, other than ending this summer.

Unfortunately she is not a Mitchell so she is not considered important to Mitchellenders anymore. Besides her good acting was showing up the Poison Dwarf and Beetroot Man:rolleyes:
Hmm, well at least they aren't copying Emmerdale directly. The Steph/Shelley stuff wassn't off of a roof, and neither was Tom King. They are copying themselves a bit though - anything happens to a woman of his, he's always suspected. And always when there's a child in the storyline - he got accused of killing Lisa when he got Louise back.

What a shame. I was hoping she would melt the Milky Bar kid and boil the beetroot, and burn the Poison Dwarf's flying bra collection.

I was kind of hoping that she would remain in the show for a bit longer so she could start terrorising Peggy, maybe think that she was losing her marbles so Phil would put his dear old mum in a home.:lol:

Ben is the Milky Bar kid, named after an old TV ad for Milky Bar chocolate, and Dandelion and Burdock is a drink.
As for Stella, any hope that she could take Rob and Dawn and Max and Stacy with her when she falls off the roof? Do we know why she's up on the roof in the first place? My guess is that Phil finds out what she's been doing to Ben and a tussle ensues... :searchme:

I hope its Ben who kills her, and finds his Mitchell backbone. She could force him on the roof to terroise him again, and he snaps and tells her he won't stand for her bullying anymore and a tussle ensues and he finally gets the upper hand :clap:

Sadly for you, Al, from the look of the pic that was in The Mirror today (not my paper btw :o ) Phil has his feet firmly on the ground (well roof of a building), and is a good few feet away from the edge, when the Cruella DeVil of Walford takes a tumble...:)

Does anyone know what Stella's secret is? The mags talk about her and Phil meeting her mother and that her mother is surprised he has a kid, and if she told Phil about her sister.
I am only guessing here but think it might have been abuse did to her sister, similar to Ben and perhaps she killed her.
Anyone else got any ideas?

according to last nights episode, Phil has once again caught Stella in another lie ...and during a convo between Stella and her mother( Phil went to the potty ),, that Stella was 10 and the sister was 4 and Stella was supposed to be keeping an eye on her lil sister,, something happened ( nothing came out ) then Phil takes Stella to a lay by and asks her for the truth ( Stella lies again ) that her sis had died of spinal mengiitis ( sp ) There is a whole lot we do not know about Stella, and I wish the Mom and Dad had told Phil a bit more ,,,:searchme:
she obviously has an issue with kids, my guess is that she tortured her sister which contributed to her death. what i want to know is why didn't her parents do something about her to stop it happening again to kids like ben?

what I would like to know is why didn't Stella's parents tell Phil the whole story ??? Mom sure didnt know much about Phil and Ben you could tell,, especially that Phil has a child,,
maybe Stella spent alot of her time sectioned and finally let out when she was "cured" and went to law school ??
I am in agreement that she must have done something awful to her sister,,,

I think that she will jump because she wants it to look like Phil pushed her, maybe she just wanted to hurt herself but killed herself instead! She cops it next friday :ninja:

Well we have 3 days to find out how Stella manages to make Ben bleed like that,,, so when the vicar says IS THERE ANY ONE HERE THAT THINKS THAT THESE TWO SHOULD NOT MARRY,,, Ben chimes in and tells them what Stella is up to ???????? thats wild ,, so they never get hitched is that what u guys are saying,, whooo hooo bring it on :-D

I thought that they would've explained more the reason why steela acted the way she did.
they did of touch on the subject that her sister and maybe a hint of stella was involved but that was it!
I would've been interested in expanding her past further,maybe it would've helped things a bit.
