David is Katie's knight in shining armour when he fends off a drunken Hari at the Kings' party. Katie is noticeably shaken after the incident so David offers to take her home. An innocent goodnight kiss soon gets out of hand and they get intimate behind the Woolpack. However, a sudden noise startles them and the panicked pair find a hoard of people leaving the Woolpack. Has somebody seen David and Katie?

Meanwhile, Paddy is bowled over by Rita's outfit and he can't keep his hands off her before the party. As they are leaving for the Kings' party Rita steps out in front of Marlon's car and only quick thinking from Paddy saves the day. Rita is overwhelmed and spreads the word about Paddy's heroism to the party guests. But is Paddy comfortable with the praise?

Elsewhere, Rosemary is amused to be given a lesson in trout-tickling by Zak. Over at the Dingles, Del gives Lisa a makeover and sends her to Home Farm in search of Zak. Upon finding Zak and Rosemary joking around Lisa is embarassed and tries to leave, only for Zak to invite her to join them. Rosemary feels excluded by their behaviour, but is Zak and Lisa's marriage back on track?

Elsewhere, Marlon's worries about the building inspector's visit are unfounded when the house foundations are passed. After Shadrach gives him a new caravan, Marlon is encouraged to ask Donna to move back in. Will Donna be tempted to accept the offer?

Also, David fears for his relationship when Del approaches him, but breathes a sigh of relief when there is no mention of his kiss with Katie. However, Katie is not so lucky when Chas reveals she saw the incident. After agreeing to keep it a secret from Del, Chas warns David not to hurt her cousin. Katie and David meet later on and vow never to let lightning strike twice, but can they keep their lust in check

Del offers Lisa a friendly ear to discuss her problems with Zak and Rosemary. Following Del's encouragement she goes to clear the air with Zak but finds him comforting Rosemary once again. Rosemary gives Zak a pen knife belonging to her first husband and Zak later lies to Lisa that he found the pen knife in Seth's hide. Will this lie signal the beginning of the end of their marriage?

Also, Paddy is embarrassed when Rita invites him to dinner with her parents who join with their daughter to salute Paddy's heroism. He finally snaps and berates Rita for her overbearing attitude to his good deed. Rita breaks down in tears and her father explains that her sister was run down and killed by a car. Paddy is consumed by guilt, but can he repair his relationship with Rita?

Meanwhile, Jimmy accompanies Kelly to court and she is floored when her solicitor reveals that she stands to face four years in prison if convicted. After deciding to plead guilty in an effort to get a more lenient sentence, she starts her wedding plans to distract her attention from the impending court case.

Lisa finally confronts Rosemary and accuses her of sleeping with Zak. She admits her fears that Rosemary has usurped her role in the family before physically attacking her. Zak breaks up the action and Lisa heads back to the Dingles for a blazing row with her husband. Belle urges Rosemary to rectify the situation and she persuades Lisa to clear the air. Lisa is eventually convinced that Rosemary's intentions towards Zak and Belle are honourable and she spends the night alone with her husband. Will Rosemary find a solution to her loneliness?

Meanwhile, Rosemary is visibly shaken following Lisa's attack and Grayson steps in to protect his mother from Matthew's taunts. Once she has calmed down Gray prepares to ask her for betting money but is interrupted by Belle. Hari is anxious that they have no money but Gray is surprised later when Rosemary stumps up £15k. Will Boomer deliver on the investment?

Elsewhere, as Viv alters the Christening theme, Ashley unsuccessfully tries to bring her back down to earth. Undeterred he asks Laurel to help and the two of them talk up the advantages of smaller Christenings in Viv's earshot. His work appears to pay dividends when Viv agrees to tone things down, but Donna steps in and encourages her mother to make the Christening big, bright and tacky!

Louise fears that Boomer will be tested for drugs before his race, but Gray is delighted to learn that Boomer's odds are long, giving him and Hari the opportunity to make a fortune. The race begins well for Boomer but three fences from the end it pulls up lame, devastating Hari. He spurns Louise's attempts to comfort him and faces a demand for the £15k from Gray and Rosemary. Can Hari lift himself out of his financial quagmire?

Elsewhere, Val is miserable when she finds Paul and Diane modelling their outfits for Sharon's wedding. Rodney recognises Val's pain and offers his sympathy, vowing to unite mother and daughter. Will Rodney's powers of persuasion break the deadlock?

Also, Bob battles against rising Christening costs and tries to convince Jamie and Kelly to contribute instead of buying a present. He later rejects Eddie's offer of financial assistance but is forced to reconsider when Viv makes further demands. What more can Bob do to fund the Christening of the century?

27th April

Rosemary forces Gray to tell her everything about the horse scam and it gives her a brainwave. She visits Hari offering to write off the debt for a small favour. Hari is intrigued and goes to Home Farm to learn more, only to be confronted by Gray. Gray tells Hari that his end of the deal would involve testifying against the Kings, thus implicating them in Tom King's murder. Is Hari prepared to lie to save his own skin?

Meanwhile, Rodney and Paul plot to heal the rift between Val and Sharon and Rodney invites Sharon for a drink in the Woolpack. Val tries to lay on a guilt trip but Sharon is unmoved and instead things degenerate into a huge row. Paul steps in and begs them to reconcile. Sharon caves and agrees that Val can attend, but how long will the truce last?

Elsewhere, with the rest of the village seemingly disinterested in building floats for the pageant, Betty, Pearl, Sandy, Len, Turner and Edna decide to make their own. They struggle for any decent ideas and finally settle on a futuristic float. But will it be enough to take first place?
