'Ned Man Walking'
Airs on Monday, April 16 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

Everything looks set to crumble before Toadie steps in with one final witness – Robert Robinson.

Rosie doubts Toadie’s legal strategy when Robert Robinson appears to be unflappable. But Toadie’s clever plan draws out the monster within and Robert’s violent outburst wins Max’s freedom. Rosie eats humble pie when Toadie triumphs and he advises her to be less righteous in future. The Hoylands celebrate but Toadie excuses himself, still cut up by the sight of Max and Steph together. When Steph visits Toadie to thank him for clearing Max he pretends he’s not home and is left to celebrate - alone.

Katya busts Ned about to smash Charlie’s piggy bank to feed his gambling habit and begs him to leave Erinsborough with her to make a fresh start. Ned agrees and even ignores Paul’s taunts about a poker game he’s hosting tonight. But Ned’s addiction proves too strong and he abandons Katya in order to return unknowingly to Paul’s irresistible trap.

Rosie’s upset about her father issues and opens up to Paul who cheers her up with a strong pep talk. Rosie’s grateful but can’t help wondering if Paul still holds a candle for her.

Following Max’s legal victory, Janae looks forward to resuming normal, uneventful suburban life. Boyd’s guilt is stirred and he confesses that the girl he kissed in Tasmania turns out to be Elle’s childhood friend Glenn who’s about to pay a visit. Janae’s outraged and warns Elle not to mess with the Timmins code of family loyalty.

Susan attempts to get rid of Karl’s wretched rooster but when the blasted bird squawks from the boot of Katya’s departing car, she’s sprung big time.

'Sleight of Hand'
Airs on Tuesday, April 17 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

Hell-bent on busting Paul at the poker game, Ned zeroes in on his neighbours for the stake money, first targeting Max (who feels bad about booting Ned from the Hoyland House), then Janelle. Ned takes his place at the table and seems undaunted by Paul and his poker buddies. When he loses all his money though, Ned demands re-entry to the game. Unaware Paul's cruelly setting him up, Ned foolishly takes a loan from Ari Piven. At evening's end, Ned is $25,000 in debt - the only person stricken Ned can turn to for help is Paul!

When confronted, Lolly confesses to Lou that she was smoking and almost tells him about her stepmother’s abuse but is interrupted by Harold. Lolly courts danger - and irks Bree - by lighting up a cigarette at school. After smelling smoke, Pepper finds the cigarette packet but Lolly doesn't own up; indeed, she pleads with Bree not to dob her in, fearful Lou will send her home. Bree takes the blame, much to Lolly's relief and Susan's incredulity. Janelle takes Susan and Pepper to task; sure there's been a perversion of justice. Thwarted, Janelle broaches her misgivings about Lolly's behaviour with Lou. While Harold shares Janelle's concern, Lou turns a deaf ear, totally oblivious to his daughter's machinations.

Pepper can't shake her fixation with Paul. When Paul makes her an indecent proposal - after hearing Lyn's return is imminent - Pepper once again finds herself on Paul's doorstep, hoping a roll in the hay might lay her obsession to rest…

Stingray spends the night at Sky’s, helping her finish the sculpture of Janelle. When Lolly tells Bree about the amount of time Stingray's spending at the Bishops’ Bree's worried. She catches Stingray and Sky sharing an intimate moment and raises her concerns - is Stingray going to break Rachel's heart?

The drawsheet's whipped off Jeremy Ron's (ie Sky's) sculpture of Janelle. It ain't a pretty sight…

'G Whizz'
Airs on Wednesday, April 18 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

Rachel and Stingray sadly acknowledge the void between them and split amicably. Dylan asks Sky if she and Stingray are more than just friends. Forced to confront her feelings, Sky privately realises Dylan’s right but denies it to him. Whilst discussing Stingray’s break up with Rachel, he and Sky tentatively admit their attraction to each other. They agree that family disapproval and the complication of Kerry prevents them from pursuing a relationship. But their romantic spark is too strong to resist and they throw caution to the wind.

Pepper twigs to Ringo’s extreme behaviour around Rachel and gives him a few useful pointers on girls - which he applies without success. Ringo warns Pepper to be careful with Paul – he has twigged to the tryst and Rosie might too.

On a second attempt at opening up to Lou, Lolly chickens out and distracts him by discussing a special vegan dinner hosted by Andrew G at a flash city restaurant. Keen to impress Lolly, Lou bluffs that he’s been invited. Attempting to crash the function, Harold and Lou help out a beleaguered chef, unaware it is Andrew himself, just sampling the food before it goes out. When Harold and Lou’s clueless-ness is exposed, Andrew covers charmingly for Lou, making him a hero in Lolly's eyes, and delivering her and Pepper a priceless moment with their favourite tv star.

Bree and Susan set up a domestic chore challenge for arrogant Karl and relish it when he has to eat humble pie.

'Pall In The Family'
Airs on Thursday, April 19 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

When Harold absent-mindedly leaves his keys in the car, it’s stolen by car thieves - with Kerry in the back seat!

Sky admits how much Stingray means to her and the pair share a loving kiss that Dylan witnesses. Dylan’s privately disturbed by their union but puts on a brave face. But when he informs Janelle she immediately panics about how Dylan will react, nervous that her family will be torn apart once again. Steiger comforts Janelle, offering support, and has a man-to-man chat with Dylan. Despite Dylan’s inner discomfort about his brother’s relationship, he displays total acceptance of their relationship, inviting Stingray, Sky and Kerry to join him and Elle at their Valentines Day retreat. Stingray’s apprehensive about going but finally accepts the olive branch being offered by his brother.

Carmella confronts Rosie demanding to know where she has hidden Rocco’s cash. Rosie sets Carmella a task: if Carmella is smart enough to find where Rosie has hidden the money, Rosie will assist her in saving Rocco’s business. Carmella rises to the challenge and sets out on a search that leads her back to Lucia’s – and Rosie’s old Barbie doll collection.

Summer arrives home to her re-united family and senses all is not well. She challenges Steph and Max but they continue to play ‘happy families’ - both keen to avoid facing the fact their relationship has changed for the worst.

Susan continues to struggle with Karl’s new lifestyle and the pair engages in some public bickering. Despite the battles, their healthy relationship is in stark contrast to the internal strife that exists in Steph and Max’s marriage.

'Ned Time Story'
Airs on Friday, April 20 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

Harold’s distraught when he finds his car gone with baby Kerry still strapped in her seat. Paul witnesses the theft and rushes to call the Police. When the car is found abandoned – with Kerry mercifully unharmed inside – Dylan, Stingray and Elle all round on Harold, bawling him out for his neglect. Harold looks to Sky for sympathy but she gives him the strongest rebuke of all. Fearful of losing Kerry, Harold feels forced to create a colossal lie: he was carjacked!

The invite list to Rosie and Frazer’s country retreat swells, much to Frazer’s frustration. The final guest is Ned, coerced by Paul – for mysterious reasons - into wangling an invitation. While initially reluctant, Ned warms to the task of amplifying the cracks that exist between the couples, when his pride is hurt. He pays particular attention to winding up Carmella (who’s got the pip with Oliver over his reluctance to reclaim his fortune) and Dylan (who’s struggling with the thought of Stingray usurping him as Kerry’s father). After a bitter flashpoint, the path is clear for Ned to carry out Paul’s sinister mission.

Rosie feels bad for turning the romantic getaway with Frazer into a dog and pony show. She’s forced to tell him the truth - she’s still nervous as hell about taking their relationship to the next level – making it difficult for him to come clean about his own colossal secret.

Staggered that Carmella found Rocco’s hidden loot, Rosie finally agrees to help her out with the family business.
