EastEnders actress Kacey Ainsworth has landed a role on Desperate Housewives.

The star, who plays Little Mo in the BBC soap, will join the cast of the US drama in its upcoming second season. Her part as a British nanny, possibly to Lynette Scavo's children, will run over three episodes.

News of the move was let slip by her costar Shane Richie (Alfie Moon) at last weekend's British Soap Awards.

When asked about the part, a shocked Ainsworth replied: "You're not meant to know about that."

Yeah I posted it in here and it got closed. Its being discussed in the Desperate Housewives section - but since I try my best to avoid all spoilers on DH (came across this one by mistake) I don't read that section.
