The Bugs Bite in The Queen Vic

EASTENDERS actress Barbara Windsor has revealed that Albert Square’s Queen Vic pub is infested with nits.

The 69-year-old, who plays landlady Peggy Mitchell, said she and Laila Morse, who plays Mo Harris, were bitten by the little critters on the set at Elstree Studios.

Babs told Channel 4's Paul O'Grady show: "A couple of us did get a little bitten. Mo said to me, 'I've been bitten in your pub.'

"I said, 'It's not my pub, it's the BBC's pub'."

Nits its another name for head lice. It must be fleas that the vic is infested with if Mo is getting bitten.
