David is hurt by Maria's rejection and gets revenge by telling everyone Charlie tried to drown him - before making an outrageous claim to the police. Tracy is then released on bail and returns to the Street, where she hears about the lad's claims - prompting her to wonder what he actually saw.
She later realises he's lying and the teen could be used to her advantage, but it's actually David who has spotted an opportunity for blackmail.
Meanwhile, Maria is questioned by the police about Charlie's violent nature, and Kelly thinks love is in the air when she joins the Connors for drinks, but Liam only has eyes for Joanne.
Les tries to talk Chesney into coming home, and succeeds for a while, but when the lad arrives back at number 5 and his parents are arguing again, he decides to go back to school.
Roy discovers a stash of valuable comics, but later realises Becky has taken them to a car-boot sale.
Slug then makes an unwelcome return to the cobbles, while Sean is miffed at missing out on a chance to see Sonny.

What's so great about Joanne? Am I missing something, being female and all? First she had Adam, now Liam wants her. She seems really boring, and not that good looking either.. :searchme:

Yeah,if they have a car,why does hayley always get the bus???
Never thought of that before!
Its to do with old comics Roy finds and sells...................................
Roy and Hayley dig out items for Becky’s car boot sale, they comes across some old comics which Roy realises could be quite valuable. But will he be prepared to part with them?
Tracy’s determined to find out exactly what David saw despite her family’s warnings that she shouldn’t be talking to potential witnesses. David, meanwhile, is giving his evidence to the police and when he says Charlie attacked him [David] twice his story suddenly becomes more convincing.
Back on the Street, he warns Maria to expect a visit from the police, and while they arrive to question her about Charlie’s attacks on David, Tracy finally gets hold of David herself. Demanding to know what he saw, Tracy soon realises he’s lying and could be used to her advantage.
Meanwhile, Jodie Morton arrives on the street with her Granddad to inspect the empty bakery, a site she’d paid Charlie to renovate for her. Having received a surprise payment from another client, Jason claims he’s up to the job but Jodie warns him she expects some serious progress by the end of the week. Has Jason bitten off more than he can chew?
Joanne’s nervous of getting into a relationship with her boss, but Liam’s very persuasive and she finds it impossible to resist. But will she be able to resist telling the other factory girls about her conquest?
And Roy’s gutted when he realises Becky has taken his precious comic collection to the car boot sale, especially when she returns with a new coat.
David’s beginning to realise he could benefit from keeping Tracy out of jail, so when he catches her alone in Charlie’s house (where she’s gone to retrieve one of Amy’s toys he decides to play his own game. Startling her, he suggests she may have killed Charlie deliberately. Seeing her response, he seizes on it asking her what’s in it for him if he backs her up in court.
Chesney’s eating Fiz out of house and home and she’s broke, but when Cilla warns Fiz she intends to win Chesney back it’s game on as the women square up.
Meanwhile, Slug’s back on the street and wants Becky to meet him for a drink. She knows she shouldn’t but will Becky be able to resist her old ways?
Elsewhere, Roy and Hayley decide to buy themselves the car of their dreams with the proceeds from the comics; and Sean’s miffed when he misses his chance to meet Sonny again.
David’s full of himself as he spots Tracy in the street, but her mood’s dark as she realises he’s got her right where he wants her. After spending the morning playing the grieving widow, Tracy decides to pay him a visit. Offering him a car radio, she tries to make out it’s not a bribe, but as she's heading to the Rovers David reveals he hasn’t finished with her yet.
Drowning her sorrows, Tracy ignores the disapproving looks and as the alcohol kicks in, she tells her appalled parents that she’s had enough of playing the victim. Is Tracy about to blow?
Delighted with their new car, Roy and Hayley discuss Becky’s seemingly-changed ways and suggest giving her the money left over from the comic sale. But Becky’s not quite the reformed character they think she is, as she meets Slug in the Rovers. Slug can’t see the attraction in regular work and after a few drinks, Becky’s starting to find his arguments very persuasive. So when he suggests injecting a little excitement into the evening by borrowing the Croppers' car, she doesn’t hesitate for long.
The spark is clearly gone from Joanne and Adam’s relationship as her affair with Liam hots up. Joanne’s clearly smitten and when Liam offers her a bit of no strings after hours fun she can’t help but resist, even though she would like a little bit more from him.
Elsewhere, Sarah’s happy when Jason promises her a slap up meal for her birthday; and Chesney is finding all Fiz’s mothering a bit strange having being used to Cilla’s harder approach.
Hope this explains things better.
I used to post the Corrie spoilers in full every week but I thought no-one was interested

One such duo, who really should know better, are Sean Tully and Sonny Dillhon. The former lovers have been flirting with danger for weeks, ever since Sean discovered Sonny was his mate Michelle Connor's new man. But while Sonny has protested that he loves the raven-haired beauty and nobody else, he is doing a pretty good demonstration of being a lousy love rat as he and Sean fall back into each other's arms during the evacuation.
To make matters even worse, the treacherous tryst happens just days after Sonny takes his relationship with Michelle to a much more serious level by proposing. But while the beautiful barmaid is dreaming of a fabulous future, Sonny is betraying her with one of her best mates…
Elsewhere in Coronation Street, there's another resident getting into murky waters. Claire Peacock has always been the benevolent sort – just look at her support to resident boyfriend bludgeoner Tracy Barlow. But her good doing ways could be about to get her in a whole heap of trouble as she befriends a sad and desperate woman who she really should be keeping at arm's length.
As part of her therapy following her post-natal depression, Claire is encouraged to volunteer at a helpline. And soon she finds herself getting more involved that she should with a young woman called Casey, who's baby tragically died. But while Claire thinks she's doing the right thing by giving Casey support, the gesture may blow up in her face.
Let's hope she realises that some work needs to be left at the office!

Steve may be rejoicing at the prospect of the object of his affections finally becoming free for him to pursue, but unfortunately Michelle has been heartbroken in the process.
Stunned by her boss' accusations about her boyfriend's sexuality, the popular barmaid confronts Sean and demands to know the truth about his relationship with Sonny.
The machinist remains silent but begins to falter when Liam and Paul pile on the pressure for him to tell him the truth.
Meanwhile, unused to being on the receiving end of blackmail, Tracy is finding it increasingly difficult to fend off David's advances.
Eventually she decides that one moment of awkward passion is bearable if it means she will get away with murder and so lures the teenager into Charlie's flat.
However, Jason catches the pair on CCTV, which in turn reaches Sarah, who demands to know what her younger brother is up to.
Leanne continues to impress the Battersby-Brown clan with her tales of success in the property market, while Ashley becomes increasingly worried about the amount of time Claire is devoting to her counselling work.

A more sinister side to the Connors is unveiled when an accident at the factory leaves Paul and Carla with no choice but to try and disguise the fact the factory girls have been undertaking illegal overtime.
After forming their plan, the pair believe they will be able to get away with it until both Sally and Liam arrive early for work the next day and threaten to expose their cover-up.
Meanwhile, Eileen remains on a one-woman crusade to keep baby Holly and refuses to let her mother back into the youngster's life.
However, as Emma becomes more insistent she wants her daughter back, Jason realises he needs to step in and make his mum see sense.
Elsewhere, the repercussions of recent events continue to cause Deirdre and Ken concern. They're even more upset when Peter says he is leaving for Portsmouth and Adam announces he's going with him.
As the duo leave number one, Weatherfield's most resilient couple are left alone with the realisation their crumbling marriage might not take much more strain.

From Corrie Blog
Violet Wilson gets a new hunky fella
Violet Wilson, remember her? She’s going to get a new fella, says fab Inside Soap magazine. Violet will hook up with hunky Gary, played by Jared Cooke, who arrives on Coronation Street next week.
A Corrie insider told the magazine: “Violet’s luck with men has been dire. But Gary’s a breath of fresh air. Violet wonders if he might be a keeper”. A keeper? What? Like this fella?
Fiz Brown has fling with old flame
Poor Kirkeh. It looks like Fiz will be breaking his heart soon when an old flame turns up and sets her passion alight in a way that Kirkeh just doesn't seem to do. The Daily Star says that Fiz meets an old flame when she takes little brother Chesney to his school play dress rehearsal. Fiz’s old flame is Chesney's new drama teacher and the couple end up snogging backstage. But they are spotted by Kirk's sister Maria who leaps to the defence of her brother. Furious Maria demands: "What the hell's going on? If you're messing Kirk about then our friendship's over." A Corrie source told the paper: "It looks like heartbreak for poor old Kirk."
Because these are undated spoilers, I am going to merge this with the Corrie Snippets thread. Can we keep all undated spoilers there please - thanks guys.

oh dear now I'm confused, because one of the headlines on the TV mag says that Vi is going to marry our Sean?! has anyone read this story yet, I didn't have time to pick it up on the way into work this morning.
There was talk of this way back. Violet relaises that there is only a slim chance of her having a child and as her biological clock is ticking away her a Sean decide to have a child together. Whether or not they use the traditional method of conception or the turkey baster method was not disclosed.

Steves Kiss Off
This is the moment Steve's been waiting for since toxic Tracy went down for murder.
After wooing Michelle with his needy single-parent credentials the pair eventually lock lips when Michelle confides in him about Paul's part in her husband's death.
But with her emotions running wild, and a failed engagement just a few months' ago, it could all be too soon for Michelle.
Actor Simon Gregson told ITV Soaps: “I think it's a little bit close to the previous event, but I do think she's ready now for somebody who's heterosexual!”
Despite growing closer to the lusty landlord, Michelle comes to her senses and pulls away after the kiss, leaving Steve very hungry for more.
However, despite their dithering, Simon is sure they'll eventually get it together, and even believes she could fill Karen's size nine stilettos.
“No one can ever really measure up to the madness of Karen, she was a one off,” added Simon. “But he's fallen for her big time, so hopefully all will go well for him.”
And with Steve's mum Liz heading for the aisle, we reckon a double splicing at the Rovers could be in order!
“We could sell it to a magazine!” laughed Simon. “I'm sure that'll be on the cards, it's highly possible. But I doubt whether Steve and Michelle will be thinking about weddings just yet …”

Gail's 50th Birthday
This is the side-splitting moment when Audrey throws Gail a surprise 50th birthday party – only to discover she's actually 49!
Audrey's never been a model mum, but getting her own daughter's age wrong is a new low for the dipsy hairdresser. After all, she was there at the birth!
But as always, the real villain of the piece is devious David.
When Bill and Audrey ask the youngster to help them create a giant banner, he's only too pleased to whip out his brush to paint the words ‘Happy 50th Birthday' in giant red letters.
However, embarrassing his mum in front of the whole Street is small fry compared to the storyline actor Jack P Shepherd is currently filming for the tearaway teen.
“The storyline that's coming up next is completely different to what I thought it would be,” teased Jack. “He's never done anything like it before.”

However, when Carla is approached by one of Leanne's clients who expresses an interest about whether the pair work for the same firm, it looks certain the blonde escort girl's secret is about to come out.
Will Liam be the only one left in the dark?
Elsewhere, Claire and Ashley's nightmare following the fire refuses to extinguish when the butcher is interrogated about his wife's mental state and what caused her to be sectioned.
The young mum is taken in for questioning and it's not long before she thinks she's going to be locked up for good.
Kirk is dismayed when Fiz tells him she has started seeing someone else, and Derek and Liz come close to getting caught.

When the phone rings, Claire answers but there’s silence on the other end. Ashley reckons it was a wrong number but a tense Claire is not so easily convinced.
