'Rising Above'
Airs on Monday, April 9 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

Steph’s surprised when Max invites her on a romantic date ballooning – she knows he is terrified of heights. Steph sees the tremendous effort he’s making to get their marriage onto firmer ground. Her heart thaws and she feels a rush of love for her husband again.

Karl and Susan’s new houseguest, Toadie, overhears them discussing how he was the man Steph truly wanted. Instead of getting angry, Toadie feels vindicated: he knew Steph loved him more than Max and he now intends to get her back. Despite Karl and Susan’s warnings, Toadie ropes concerned Janae into taking him to Steph. Janae’s best efforts to stall Toadie fail when he drives off and leaves her stranded. Toadie’s on a quest for love and he’s unstoppable!

Frazer realises lies are useless and tells Pepper his secret. She labels him a gold digger who only wants Rosie for the power and wealth associated with her Cammeniti name. Frazer insists that’s no longer the case – he truly loves Rosie - but Pepper’s deaf to his pleas and declares her intention to tell Rosie everything. However, when she sees how happy Rosie is she can’t go through with it, instead warning Frazer that if he hurts Rosie she’ll kill him.

Susan’s unimpressed with new age Karl: not only is he a neglectful house hubby but there have been numerous complaints about the noise his rooster’s making.

'Sky Larking'

When Toadie reveals he was Steph’s first choice, Max is stunned and demands to know the truth. He desperately wants to resume a life with Steph, but not as her consolation prize. Steph tries to convince him that he’s the one she wants but Max can’t see a point in continuing their relationship if she’s in love with somebody else. Testing her commitment, he offers to release her from their vows. Determined to make her marriage work, Steph tells Toadie it’s over. Susan and Karl’s concerns for Toadie increase as they watch him bury his grief in his work.

Ned slips deeper in debt, borrowing from his mother to pay off Stu. Desperate for funds Ned is sickened by his own deceit when he steals money from ScarletBar.

Karl and Susan celebrate Katya gaining a suspended sentence. Now a free woman, Katya’s plans for a fresh start in life are given a boost when she resumes her relationship with Ned, unaware he’s living a lie.

Harold’s distressed by Sky’s ‘immature’ behaviour and Sky fears Harold’s becoming over protective of Kerry. Her fears are cemented when she learns from Stingray that Harold’s already started enrolling Kerry in various schools. When Sky confronts him Harold insists he only had Kerry’s best interests at heart. Sky and Stingray’s unconventional friendship leads them to indulge in some apparently ‘harmless’ kissing fun, but when Harold catches them he blows his stack telling Sky she needs to grow up. Sky protests her actions where innocent but Harold angrily points out it’s hardly the example she should be setting her daughter.

Stingray surprises Sky when he announces her bogus artist’s application to create Janelle’s bust for Lassiter’s foyer has been accepted. Sky surprised Stingray by dressing in drag as the artist “Jeremy Raft”.

Susan’s horrified when Karl suggests his rooster will have to stay in their bedroom overnight.

'The Scarletbar Pimpernel'
Airs on Wednesday, April 11 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

After Frazer is seen with a wad of cash, Max wrongly blames him for the theft. Carmella tries to convince Frazer to clear his name by telling Max his secret but Frazer wants Max to trust him based on his word. When Ned covertly returns the money Frazer’s name is cleared. Shocked Katya catches Ned in the act – what has happened to the innocent Ned she used to know? Ned insists the changes in his character are all for the better – he now feels closer to Katya than ever! Fearing this is all her fault, Katya freaks out and sends Ned packing.

With Number Thirty bursting at the seams, Carmella and Rosie are at each other’s throats. Things come to a head when Paul lets slip the secret about the wealthy Barnes family. Rosie can’t understand why Carmella is suddenly transferring her affections to Will’s brother Oliver, after Will’s sudden disappearance. Their quarrel is cut short by a shocking letter from their father in prison – he only has days to live!

Vulnerable Paul pleads with Rosie not to withdraw from her job at Lassiter’s – he needs her friendship. Rosie is relieved when Paul honestly insists he retains no hope of a romance, and she promises to consider his offer of a full-time job.

Toadie throws himself back into work, starting with reclaiming his cases off Rosie. She accuses him of feeling threatened by her but Toadie pulls rank and threatens to fire her if she doesn’t behave more like a clerk.

Dylan is jealous of Elle because she spent time with Will and knows something about why he left, that he feels must explain his sudden departure. Elle feeds him a ridiculous invented secret just to shut him up!

'No Pain, No Train'
Airs on Thursday, April 12 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

Rosie’s suspicions about her father’s claim he’s ‘dying’ ultimately prove correct. Rocco’s not dying; he just wants his daughters to save his failing business. Rosie refuses but Carmella takes up the challenge, enlisting Oliver’s help with the dirty work.

Harold continues to step on Sky and Dylan’s parental toes. Fed up with Harold’s condescending attitude, Sky reminds her granddad she is Kerry’s mother, not him. When Harold’s back gives way he’s unable to stop Kerry’s pram from rolling onto the road. Ringo saves it from toppling over and fearful Harold advises Ringo not to mention the incident to anyone.

Pepper visits Paul under the pretext of collecting funds for the blogzine and they end up in a passionate clinch. Despite it making her giddy with delight, Pepper insists the kiss left her cold and Paul momentarily doubts his charisma.

Oliver reveals his family history to Frazer, who encourages Oliver to honour his father’s legacy and run the family empire. Intent on getting back his right to run the family business.

When Steiger pleads guilty to a passion for toy trains, “undercover” Janelle joins him at a Toy Train Meet at Lassiter’s despite Paul’s intervention order.

'The Hole Truth'
Airs on Friday, April 13 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One

Toadie represents Max despite Steph’s protests, cockily taking over from Rosie and insulting her in the process. The trial is a harrowing experience for all with Max reliving the worst time in his life and Elle expressing the loss she felt when Cameron died. Elle admits she has forgiven Max but the bad outweighs the good when the prosecution lays out the cold facts. Max intentionally hit Cameron then proceeded to break his bail.

Boyd gets the shock of his life when he finds out his Tasmanian fling, Glenn Forrest, is coming to Erinsborough to visit her childhood friend – Elle Robinson! Guilty Boyd assumes Glenn is in fact on her way to see him. He pleads with Elle to find out Glenn’s intentions but Elle insists ‘Forrest’ isn’t a stalker.

Carmella and Rosie are still at odds over Rocco, especially when Carmella discovers Rosie got to the $200,000 before her and gave it away to the police. Rosie shuts herself off from her sister - and Frazer - and wants her sibling to have nothing more to do with Rocco. But Carmella is determined to prove herself. Oliver steps in to provide the funds but Carmella’s joy soon deflates when they discover Oliver has lost any claims he had on his family’s money!
