LOVE rat Darren Day is to guest-star in The Bill in August - playing an untrustworthy boyfriend.
The serial philanderer, who has loved and left a string of showbiz girlfriends, plays a photographer arrested on suspicion of killing his lover.
A show source said: "He has plenty of experience when it comes to being a boyfriend so he should do a fine job."
Cash-strapped Day, right, was declared bankrupt last October after claiming he had spent £4million on cocaine over the past 10 years.
Day's previous loves include Tracy Shaw, Isla Fisher, Adele Vellacott and Suzanne Shaw
He has a daughter with current fiancee Stephanie Dooley.
