'What Lies Beneath'

During an interrogation from the police, Faye remembers her time in Dubai with her husband at the time, James.
Flashback:
Faye and James discuss that she will stay while he goes back to England and buy a property in order for them to earn money. They walk into a hospital and Faye talks to a patient she knows called Mohammed. She meets Jac and Joseph who have come to Dubai to operate on Mohammed.
Joseph is concerned about his reputation as he is worried he cannot carry out the operation on Mohammed, but Jac says she will ring Joseph’s father and tell him what has happened. Jac and Joseph have no choice but to continue with the operation. Jac lies and says she has carried it out before.
Faye sees James talking to another nurse at the hospital, Natalie, causing her to be suspicious. James leaves his phone on a table when it rings. The call is from Natalie, a nurse at the Dubai hospital, and Faye answers, however the person on the phone hangs up. Faye confronts James but he brushes her suspicions aside.
That night, after James has been missing for sometime, Faye asks him what he was doing, only to discover he did not buy the property in England and has blown all their money. In a state of anger, he loses his temper. Later, she walks down the stairs, stepping over James’ body lying on the floor, surrounded by a pool of blood. On the way to the airport, Joseph turns the taxi round to pick up Faye.
'Bedlam'

Faye is late to work, she blames a stomach bug. She tells Joseph that James is dead and that it must have been an accident. She also informs him that the police will need to speak to him and Jac. Joseph is questioned by the police. Faye is uneasy throughout the episode due to the police presence in the hospital, they are there because a football fan related incident.
Meanwhile, Nicky (an ex-patient) asks Matt to move in with him, but he isn’t so keen. Nicky blames Dean for Matt’s uncertainties and appallingly insults him. Dean tells Matt about how Nicky treated him and tells him that she doesn’t love him but is just obsessed with him and has psychiatric problems. Matt warns Dean off and tells him he is just jealous.
Tandy, Ric’s new fiancé joins Holby and there is clear tension between her and Lola. Tandy makes a good impression with Maddy. Tandy makes a wrong decision over a patient, Lola is there to correct it. Ric helps Diane treat the patient Tandy made the mistake with.
