paint shop pro problem with opening

hiya
i havent done anything to change my paint shop pro settings or anything and now if i try and open it then it freezes and i end up getting a blue screen appear and my laptop then shuts down, and it wont let me uninstall it
has this happened to anyone before

I've had blue screens before on my dad's laptop, but they weren't soley caused by paint shop pro. Try installing with the disc and hopefully it should give you an option about going over currently installed files. I would think something nasty has got into the files, so they don't want to be uninstalled.

Type ad-aware se in google, then if the page doesn't close down by itself, install that and scan the whole system.

ive tried putting the disc in and nothing happens with that in either, i think my laptop is just muffed up totally

Can you hear it spinning the disc? It might be that it's hit and miss, that's what the one on my dad's does.

Go to run and select d drive, then see if anything happens.
