Hi don't know if anyone can help me, but i've got a problem with someone's laptop and i want to try and get it back to it's orriginal setting, but have no disk for that make only for a Dell pc. I've tried running a system restore, but can't get it to go back far enough past the problem.
So if anyone could help that would be fab, oh and sooner rather than later as i don't have it for long. Thanks x

What make is it Dawn. I use Dells you generally dont need a disk. You can do a factory reset when starting up. Most of the stuff on a laptop is already stored

It's a Toshiba. The disk's i've got are for my Dell pc, not for the laptop, so i don't know if that makes a difference.
What's the problem? Maybe if you fix the problem you won't need to system retore.

The problem is fixed, but i still want to system re-boot, as there's too much on it that needs removing. That can't be removed any other way.
