According to Dreamwatch SciFi, the BBC have confirmed that season three of Doctor Who will commence on 31st March.

In addition, we can reveal that the series had originally been planned to launch on 24 March, indeed this is stated in the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine, but the schedule was changed earlier this week when it was decided that BBC One would be screening England's European Championship match against Israel on that Saturday.

The start time is likely to be the traditional 7pm slot.

Only 31 days to go until the Tardis returns. The bbc should have put it up against the football they would have won the raitings war no problem.

Well that's just typical, the first day of my holiday, i hope we've made it to our destination by then, and don't have to go out that evening! :mad:

Refuse to go out Dawn, on the basis that the new series is starting and unless they want you grumping about on the first night of the holiday and you being totally unbearable, they'll allow you to watch it with no complaints!! :D

I'm so excited! I can't wait til it starts. I'm meant to be going out that night for the first time since my son was born but they can wait. I'll go out afterwards.

I just adore the whole Dr Who / Torchwood package. Best drama the BBC has produced in years and years.

Talking of torchwood, when does that start again?? Maybe it says on this board. I'll go and have a snoop....
