MSN name not changing

I cant get my msn name to change - the bar along the top of the contact list says its changed but when i speak to people its the same name i had about 4/5 weeks ago thats shown in the window and this isnt just for me it shows my name as something i was using in January for some of my contacts aswell. I have tried un-installing then re-installing it but still doesnt work, any ideas?

I think there's just a network problem going around tonight as it keeps booting me out of multiple conversations.

You've got MSN Plus or something as well, dont you? It could just be an error with that, and not MSN generally. They tend to mess around from time to time.

Yeah i have, it has done this lot since new year, its really quite annoying
