holby.tv can reveal that HOLBY CITY actors Adam Best and Paul Henshall are leaving the show.

The two actors, who play characters Matt Parker and Dean West, have already finished filming on the medical drama. They join actress Patricia Potter who has also quit the show.

The pair both joined the show in May 2005 as Student Doctors. The character of Matt has had a number of storylines including being stabbed and his romance with patient Nikki. Whilst the producers of HOLBY brought Paul Henshall's character into the show in an aim to provide a true representation of it's audience.

Well to be honest, Dean hasn't done much recently, so won't miss him. And well I guess maybe the storyline with Nikki could lead to Matts departure ?

Still not happy about Patricia leaving though :(

im glad its them two lol not anyone good as i have never really liked Adam and Paul in it anyway and they havent really had any storylines except the nikki one
and lea i agree with you i dont want tish to go as i kinda like her in it

So they paid Paul for two years to sit in a wheelchair and demonstate a true representation of the audience? hmmm. I'm not fussed he's leaving. He didn't do anything.
I do like Matt. When he's not sleeping with his patients he's a nice guy. Think I might be sad to see him go.

Lol, well as like most of you have said Dean and Matt, who???? They haven't really done much at all since being in it and passing there exams.
Won't miss them at all, but will really miss Tish as i've been a big fan of hers since she was in Brookie.
