Boyd feels uneasy about leaving Janae alone in the company of Rex and her workmates, but Janae is adamant she can look after herself – unlike Boyd, she can be trusted. Janae’s oblivious to the ‘real’ Rex as they chat well into the night, but Will and Rosie have their concerns, letting Janae know she may be in trouble. Disbelieving at first, Janae soon finds out the ugly truth about Rex when he ogles her at work. Seeking revenge, Janae uses her smarts to turn customers away from the garage and gives Rex a piece of her mind. But her bravery is short-lived when slimy Rex locks them both in his office with no one else around.
Rosie and Paul’s mutual attraction grows - one that scares but also excites the both of them for different reasons. Terrified of having feelings for another woman while he’s with Lyn, Paul panics and makes a spur of the moment decision to bring the wedding date forward – instead of months it’s now in weeks!
Dylan makes it clear he’ll never be able to forgive Paul for his part in Elle’s ‘illness’ - a stance that hurts Elle. After a pep talk from Lyn, Elle is encouraged to make her feelings about big issues known to Dylan instead of keeping quiet. But face to face, Elle’s unable to open up for fear of wrecking what they have together. Paul’s angered by Elle’s decision to suffer in silence and disapproves of her passivity – privately blaming Dylan for her low self-esteem.
