Sounds interesting. I'm glad Cyd and Greg sound as if they are getting together - I wonder why Greg was so reluctant before. I really hope Sam and alice will make it too, they'd be great together.

Now then Nathan hiring a women, well this could possibly be to make Selena feel threaten (as at present they will both have to work together and share an office) or it could be as he wants Selena to feel jealous.
Everyone at Holby will miss Harry and Selena will take it hard as they are probably the closest in the hospital to each other.

sam and alice go together much better than alice and guppy would have done. sam really cares about her doesnt he. i wonder who selenas new love interest is?

It may be because he wants Selena to be jealous that he might date another woman but he also might be hiring a woman diliberately so that she doesn't form an attachment to another man as she did with Harry.

He's not doing any filming for TV he is doing a stage tour of the U.K in The Unexpected Guest. He will start filming at the end of April so back on our screens around Julyish.

just found this info about him, he is leaving to do theatre..........

Simon MacCorkindale will be taking a break from CASUALTY to tour the UK for six months in a production of 'The Unexpected Guest' by Agatha Christie.

His character Harry leaves the show in January after being elected MP however Publicity have confirmed that Simon will return to our screens in June.

But Simon has hinted that he may still quit the show for good when his contract runs out at the end of the year. 'There comes a point when you feel you have done enough. And I always felt that the best of my career would be at the latter end.

'I want to go on as an actor and would like to move to the next level.'

Meanwhile in theatre, Simon will play the lead character of Michael Starkwedder alongside other cast including Dean Gaffney, Frazer Hines, Virginia Stride, Mark Wynter and Tracey Childs.

The who-dunnit play, filled with suspense, intrigue and surprise twists, is a powerful drama which will keep you guessing as to the identity of the murderer from beginning to end. Lost in the fog, Michael stumbles into Richard Warwick's study to find him dead and Richard's wife, Laura, standing near him with a gun. Warwick was a detestable brute, so when Laura confesses to his murder, Starwedder agrees to give her an alibi. But who is he really protecting? And in a house full of suspects, whose are the unidentified fingerprints found at the scene?

I don't want Harry to leave permantly. He's one of the best in Casualty at the moment. He always knows how to put people at ease. What will the department do without Harry Harper?

Saturday 24th February

New nurse Nadia (Daphne Alexander) makes enemies on her first day by having a row with Sam over a parking space and annoying Kelsey with her refusal to treat a patient. But a board member is pleased to see her when he remembers that Nadia's father made a generous donation to the hospital.

Selena is feeling sad because Harry hasn't been in contact since he left. She leaves a message for Harry to say that their kiss was a mistake - but she's still upset that he hasn't been in touch. Or has he..?

Later, Abs suggests that everyone go for drinks. But when Nadia declares that the drinks are on her, Kelsey declines the offer.

Selena seems upset not to have received any messages from Harry. Nathan tells Selena that he saw her and Harry kiss in the office the other day and that he is now employing a woman as Harry’s replacement so there is no longer any sexual tension. Later, Selena rings Harry and leaves a message saying that what happened between them was a mistake and that it only happened because they were drunk. She seems to regret leaving the message and remains upset that she hasn’t heard from Harry, not knowing that Nathan deleted a message from him.

Meanwhile, Sam tells the woman who parked in the car park that she isn’t allowed to park there. She rudely tells him that she has already and that’s the end of it. She storms past him and into the hospital. The rude woman is then introduced to the team as the new nurse, Nadia...

Elsewhere, Mike openly kisses Cyd in front of other members of staff. This leaves Dixie feeling a bit awkward.
