I never cried at Titanic. But I do cry all the time at the Lord of the Rings, Return of the King. I'm fine until the scene when Froddo and Sam are rescued from Mount Doom and we see them all reunited. Then they we see them going to the ship and you know that is Gandalf and Frodo dying. I cant help it I just bubble.

Im really going to show my age here. I remember going to the Cinema (or the flicks/picture house as it was called waaaaay back then) There was a Disney film on the callled Old Yeller. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050798/It was about a boy whose dog died of Hydrophobia (Rabies to you and me). I cried my eyes out when the doggie died

Another Disney film which made me cry was Darby O'Gill and the Little people. It scared the keek out of me especially the banshee bit.

I cry all the time, i read somewhere it was good for you, but i dont really at films. I will at TV shows but i think thats as you get like a relationship with the characters. I havent cried at Titanic probably as i knew they were all going to die anyway. but i did cry at Cool Running, As it was such a good ending, not as it was sad and i also cried at the end of Brassed off as it was so happy.

i cry at most films lol! i think nearly every disney film has made me cry at least once. most of them if theres a happy ending at the end and ive seen it before i dont cry the second time, although one exception to that is homeward bound i cry everytime i watch that even though i know theres a happy ending. i didnt cry at titanic either, i think it was cos i didnt really like the film much. and i cry at pearl harbour too, when we watched it at school the whole class were sitting there crying lol!

Just thinking of that film brings a tear to my eye...:crying:

No seriously I think Bambi is the only film that has made me totally turn on the waterworks. Oh, I watched a film about lassie's pups getting lost when I was about 5 that nearly brought me to tears, but I was brave and managed to hold it together...:o BTW Lassie managed to rescue her pups in the end....:cheer:

Titanic, Ghost, Message from Holly, Pearl Harbour (the 1st time you see it) then there's the happy teary ones like Breakfast at Tiffany's and Pretty Woman, and The Pursuit of Happyness (i was a bit weepy at the end) lol.

You tend to watch the famous ones millions of times though, and then i just end up like a robot. my friends were crying over Armageddon the other night, which is a sad film.

I've just remembered another film that has me bawling but I can't remember the name of it so I am relying on Alan and Jodi to help me out. The film was made in the 30's or 40's and its about 2 girls one black and one white. When they grow up the black woman becomes the white girls servant. They both have a daughter who are the same age and grow up to be best friends, but the black woman's daughter does not have the dark skin colour that her mother has and she tries to pretend that she is black as she is ashamed to be.

At the end of the film the black woman dies and as the funeral processing is travelling along the street the girl runs out grabing the carridge screaming that she wants her mom. Its so sad :crying:

Titanic & Armageddon. Wow, I don't think I've ever blubbed so much over a film in my life. And the worst part? The first time I saw Armageddon was in a science lesson in school. It got the part where Liv Tyler is talking to Bruce Willis before he dies and me one of my friends had tears just streaming down our faces!

Also The Green Mile, when Eduard Delacroix is being executed and he starts to say sorry..gets me everytime. Especially when the officer doesn't wet the sponge...

this is the web site that pretty much covers the movie MASK,,
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089560/

read this,,, I had no idea:
Florence "Rusty" Tullis, the mother of Rocky Dennis, passed away on November 11, 2006, at age 70 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on October 14. Ms. Tullis was portrayed by Cher in Mask.

In real life, Rusty actually had two sons. The oldest boy had died from complications from AIDS, which he got from a blood transfusion.

I can't remember if I've replied to this thread.

I haven't really cried in an emotional, upset way but watching Titanic when Jack is handcuffed to the pipe when the water is coming in scares the hell out of me. Then I get even more scared when Jack and Rose are trying to get up the stairs and the gate is locked and even more water is coming in and I think they're going to drown (always do) so I have to switch it off. I've never actually seen past that bit because I'm so scared of drowning that I just can't watch.
