Final Fantasy?

Anyone able to give me an idea as to what this game is about? i have been looking on the internet but i cant find anything except release dates for the next one out, i was thinking of getting them but dont want to buy them if i wont like them so anything anyone knows about this game would be fantastic :D

its basically a long running rpg series with each one telling a different story of a hero saving the world its accturly good. the new one is going to be well different compared to the rest if your going to buy one i suggest starting on 7 cause its the best one or get 9 its hard to say what its about cause theres different story and caracters in each one but if you like rpg games ur like this its worth it
