Matt Bardock set for Casualty role

Although we're sad to see regular characters leave our soaps, it's always nice to see a new face.

The staff of Casualty are set to be joined by new paramedic, Jeff Collier, played by Matt Bardock.

He'll be well-known to fans of The Bill, thanks to his role as Scott Burnett in the ITV1 crime drama series.

The thesp is no stranger to the small screen, his CV boasts appearances in Kavanagh QC, Midsomer Murders and Judge John Deed.

He also has a few cinematic releases under his belt, including This Year's Love, Topsy-Turvy and Honest.

Actor Matt Bardock will be joining the cast of CASUALTY next month as a new paramedic.

36 year old Matt plays the character of Jeff Collier who clashes with colleague Dixie when he first joins.

Matt, who trained at the Guildhall, has a number of acting credits to his name. In television he's appeared in shows including A Touch of Frost, Prime Suspect, The Bill, No Angels, Judge John Deed, Murder in Mind and Midsomer Murders. His film credits include Clueless, This Year's Love, Topsy Turvey, Bollywood Queen and Wasp 06.

His first appearance is due to be screened on 17th February.

Yeah, his eyes are rather yum. Though they look as if they are looking in slightly different directions to me. I hope he has blue or green eyes. They're my fave.
The more I look at him the familliar he looks. I've not seen him in any of the programs he's been in.
