Deano's at the allotments with a bottle of vodka in one hand and a pot of pills in the other. Later, Deano breaks into the Car lot and starts pouring the paraffin everywhere. A heartbroken Deano finally breaks down and cries in Kevin's arms. Back at the Wicks' Carly rushes to the door thinking that it might be Deano – it’s a drunken Shirley.

The solicitor tells Ian that he is responsible for upholding Pauline’s wishes about her house while Martin is upset about his mother’s decisions and tries to persuade Ian to ignore them. Jane encourages Ian to forget the will but he tells her he has to respect Pauline’s wishes.

Later, Martin receives Pauline’s ashes from the funeral director – he places the urn on the mantelpiece. Dot arrives and Martin explains that he thinks Pauline would want to be in the house. In a heart-to-heart, Dot tells him that he has to take a stand and not let Pauline run his life anymore – she’s gone.

Elsewhere, Dawn tells Rob that she's fed up of sneaking around – he has to finish with May; and Abi and Ben succeed in forcing Stella out of the Vic.

After the previous day's events, Kevin is delighted that Carly has agreed to help him cook a family meal. Later that day, Kevin sees Shirley on the street and smugly tells her that he’s having a family meal. He thanks her for forcing him to tell the truth as the kids have made their choice now. As Carly puts the final touches to the meal, she snaps, screaming that he lied to them. She walks out leaving Kevin completely decimated.

Kevin is sitting in a car at the car lot, sobbing. He picks up his passport and looks at it, reassuring himself that he is making the right decision before accelerating away from the Square.

Elsewhere, Phil finally rumbles Ben's hate for Stella; Martin tries to get his stall back on the market; and Dawn is shocked by Rob's suggestion about their future.

When they check the car lot, Pat realises that one of the cars is missing. Pat visits Shirley but she claims that doesn’t know anything about Kevin’s disappearance.

Later in the Vic, Carly finally loses it with Shirley and punches her in the face.

Meanwhile, Dawn visits Rob – she’s not sure that she can go ahead with his plan. Rob tries to convince her that it is the right thing to do. Rob tells her that he’ll have to rethink things if she doesn’t agree to his plan. In the Vic, May admits to Rob that she's blown a lot of money on shoes. After overhearing the conversation, Dawn is fuming. She tells Rob that she is on board – she’ll bleed every last penny out of May.

Elsewhere, Jim delivers Rebecca home to Martin, who struggles to keep an up-beat mood with Rebecca. He realises that things aren't working as they are. When his eyes fall on Pauline’s ashes – he makes his decision.

Ref : kevins secret.

I'm wondering if it's that he 'killed' his brother,we all know that he died, but it's never actually been told how,so i'm wondering if kevin put him out of his misery?

Then again, shirley wouldn't know would she because she'd legged it by then hadn't she?........or is that the reason she left?

Mmmm lots of possibilities.:searchme:
